But, one day, when Shadow and Bethany were in a battle with Mephiles, Mephiles made Bethany angry. She was so angry, she gained control of the darkness around her and defeated Mephiles. But, she was unable to control the anger. Shadow saw what was happening and did a chaos blast to help get the anger out of her. It worked, but it was the only way to get the anger out of her.
