There was a lot of controversy about the màu hồng, hồng ngựa in Sel's upcoming video.

"When Selena was presented the idea for the video, no one informed her the ngựa would be painted and she had assumed they would be colored in post-production [via special effects]," a production insider told !E. "When she showed up to the set she was very surprised to see them painted."

And then of course, as some of bạn might remember, màu hồng, hồng tweeted her outrage about the horses:

"If there are any animal activists around Malibu-at Leo Cabrillo State Beach, there are ngựa being painted for a stupid âm nhạc video," the PETA supporter tweeted. "Artists should be thêm aware and responsible for their actions."

While PETA spokesman Dan Mathews insists "there are no an toàn, két an toàn ways to paint a live horse hoặc any animal," Sel's camp reps put out a statement assuring that "no động vật were harmed and all proper precautions were taken. A nontoxic, vegetable-based powder paint was applied via an airbrush and removed with water. An official from the Humane Society was on set supervising."

But it looks like that was not enough to put out the fire. "Love bạn Like a tình yêu Song," Sel's new song and video which was to feature the ponies, will not feature them in the end. The color-enhanced động vật will no longer be featured in the clip's final cut.
