We'll think about what we want to do in the future based on those reactions."
Unsurprisingly Ohmori was coy in his answer. Looks like we'll have to wait and see what he and the Pokemon Company have up their sleeve. Could this be the opportunity for an open world mainline Pokemon entries to do that alongside brand new Galar locations? I bet it might happen this decade.
