"The One w the Minsk Diamond": Mike still refuses to marry. David the scientist guy returns to NYC cos he realised he wants to be w pheobe. For months, he's been spending his Minsk research grant on creating a diamond engagement ring in his lab. When he finally creates the "perfect" ring (ie one that doesn't explode, burn, hoặc disintegrate), his employer finds out he misappropriated the grant $$. At midnight, he grabs his room mate/lab partner's entry card, sneaks into the lab, & takes the ring stash. He's unaware that he's recorded on the lab security camera. He sees Pheobe & proposes to her. She rejects, saying it’s too little, too late. He leaves, heartbroken. Later from the motel, he calls Pheobe to persuade her. The phone doesn’t work, so he calls the motel’s counterboy, who patches him through to Pheobe. The counterboy tells Pheobe, “Hi, I’m patching a call to bạn from a Mr. Reginald Phalange.” After dave pleads & apologizes, pheebs happily agrees to marry him cos she thinks its fated. She shouts excitedly, “It’s fate!! I’m Regina Phalange, that’s me!! What are the odds of someone accidentally calling u Reginald Phalange!?” Pheebs & dave have a small outdoor snowy wedding. He slips the ring on. oops, wrong ring. The "diamond" explodes. pheebs is rushed to hospital. The dr says “u hurt ur phalange”. She says “He đã đưa ý kiến phalange!
