KISS specials abound at Hard Rock Hotel ahead of November shows
KISS arrives at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, April 1, 2012.
KISS by Monster Mini Golf Grand Opening
To welcome entertainment legend KISS to the Hard Rock Hotel, the casino-resort’s overall atmosphere is being revamped in true rock-star style with special menus, drinks, spa treatments and even an official pop-up store.
KISS hits are being used as the titles of menu items: At 35 Steaks + Martinis, there’s Smoke, a cold smoked Scottish salmon, and Sweet Pain, a sinfully indulgent dessert.
The 24-hour hotspot Mr. Lucky’s Cafe pulls out the big guns with its menu featuring Love Gun, a foot-long hot dog topped with pulled pork, melted cheese and BBQ sauce and served with French fries; and Lick It Up, a dessert with house waffle cone with chocolate rim, strawberry-chocolate jelly roll, candied almond rocky road ice cream, warm fudge sauce, chocolate pop rocks and commemorative Hard Rock Hotel drumsticks.
At Pink Taco, patrons can reminisce on iconic KISS hits Hotter Than Hot, a queso flameado con lobster and flour tortilla combination; All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose, grilled shrimp with peppers; and Heaven’s On Fire, a sugar flaming plantain tostada with waffle crisps and a scoop of caramel swirl ice cream.
Drinks include Rock ’n’ Roll All Nite, Detroit Rock City, Love Gun, Animalize, Dynasty, KISS Gold, Psycho Circus, Sonic Boom, True Confessions and War Machine.
In Reliquary Water Sanctuary & Spa, rockers can be revived with the God of Thunder 50-minute treatment body scrub and the Deuce 50-minute, head-to-toe Swedish massage and facial.
Designer John Varvatos is getting in the KISS mood unveiling KISS-inspired wardrobe pieces and groupie garb of shirts and vintage sweaters accented by silver horns and claw buttons.
An official KISS pop-up souvenir store, the B Side, will offer fan gear, pro photos and an art gallery. Hotel guests get a shot to win the band’s Authentic Anvil Road case, which will be on display during their run.
Singer and guitarist Paul Stanley is confirmed to conduct three book signings, open to the public, on Nov. 8, 15 and 22. Our exclusive Q+A with the legend was posted Wednesday night.

Arguably one the coolest joints in town, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino houses some of Vegas\' best entertainment, restaurants and nightlife.
At Hard Rock, it\'s all about the music. From the light fixtures made out of drum cymbals and guitar shaped door handles to stage costumes and tools of the trade of legendary musicians displayed on the walls, the hotel screams rock and roll. The Hard Rock\'s Joint has hosted some the biggest names in music — from The Who to Bob Dylan to hometown heroes, The Killers.
Aside from the music venues, the pool at the Hard Rock is one of its biggest attractions. Spread out over 4.7 acres, the pool area features swim-up blackjack, a bar and grill, private cabanas, a bevy of secluded nooks, a waterfall and an extensive live music venue with a dance floor. During the summer, the pool transforms into the Rehab club on Sunday afternoons.
The resident nightclub Body English fuses European elegance with a rock star bachelor pad and it often a hot spot for visiting celebs and popular DJs. Vintage rock memorabilia lines the walls at Wasted Space, Hard Rock\'s anti-club.
Restaurants at Hard Rock are just as hip as the rest of the casino. Pink Taco serves up Mexican dishes, as well as a Central American and Caribbean menu. Nobu, one of five worldwide Japanese-specialty restaurants from famed Nobu Matsuhisa, satisfies a different taste. For round-the-clock cuisine, Mr. Lucky\'s 24/7, is sure to ease your appetite even after a Vegas-all-nighter.
The Joint The Joint, which holds 4,000 people, features seven luxury suites, a VIP studio level, a state-of-the-art sound system and a superior video system.  It has received numerous accolades including “Best Concert Venue” in Las Vegas Review-Journal’s “Best of Las Vegas” awards in 2010, 2011 and 2012, “No. 1 Hottest Club in America” award by Billboard Magazine in 2011, “Best New Major Concert Venue” at the 2010 Pollstar Awards, and “Best Live Music Venue” in AOL City’s Best 2010 awards. The Joint has been the venue for concerts by Paul McCartney, Prince, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Kenny Chesney, Arcade Fire, Avenged Sevenfold, Guns N’ Roses, Rise Against, Paramore, Muse, Drake and No Doubt. The venue hosted Vegas’s first rock n’ roll residency, "Supernatural Santana: A Trip through the Hits," and in February 2012, Vegas’s first hard rock residency, "Mötley Crüe in Sin City." In 2011, the venue welcomed "Tiësto In Concert," a groundbreaking live show created exclusively for The Joint featuring the world’s No. 1 electronic DJ and producer Tiësto.
