I don't think Mary Margret going to prison is going to do much harm in the long run, unless she's put to death.

Gold always holds up his end of the deal. So since he made deals with both Regina and Emma he'll likely fulfill both but I'm guessing one will cancel out the other. Most likely Emma coming out the victor though.

But Gold is always up to something so he's gaining something out of this whole thing.
