Where did this "gak" come from?

When I first heard it, I still hadn't got to watch the S3 episodes and I thought it was something in it. I finally saw it yesterday, but no, no gak in it. What is this gak meme's source?

It's a commercial that kept popping up during the premiere of the new episodes. Some bronies decided to make it into a joke/meme.
