I tình yêu scary movies, but lately all I've been seeing are crappy ones - is there ANY good out there nowadays? Suggestions?

I suggest the classics A Nightmare on Elm Street, Child's Play, Halloween, hoặc Friday the 13th and the others if bạn haven't already seen them :)

They're the scariest horror flicks out there, in my opinion.

Hm, phim chiếu rạp that mess with your mind...The Strangers is a really good one! It's about this couple who goes to a secluded house and gets stalked bởi these really creepy people in masks. A few other fun ones are The Others (which is thêm of a ghost story and not that gory), High Tension (extremely gory, but a real big mind-messer!), Saw phim chiếu rạp (of course typical, but I have to respond with it), The Descent, Soul Survivors, Sleepaway Camp. Those are just some of the ones I thought of!

12. The Hills Have Eyes (watch the first film was the best. the 2nd film i hated.)
13. The Devil's Rejects (REALLY GOOD! but a bit sexual, graphic when it comes to violence. and tons of cursing and stuff like that. so bạn make up you're mind about that.)

The Strangers, Insidious, and John Carpenters The Ward come to mind.

I agree with the person who đã đưa ý kiến go with classics, and also I suggest going for independent phim chiếu rạp if you're looking for newer ones. The indie phim chiếu rạp made nowadays are usually a lot scarier and better than the big budget ones.

As far as classics, I like Nightmare on Elm St.(the original), Rosemary's Baby, Pet Semetary, and The Omen.

Newer ones: Hostel, Rest Stop, The Fourth Kind, Orphan, The Descent, Saw (the first one), The Ring (the first one), Cloverfield, The Mist, and Funny Games, and The Grudge (or there's a Japanese version called Ju-on).
