I agree with both of you. But James might have been a small factor. Don't get me wrong I tình yêu the couple of Lily and James. Just that James got in between them in my opinion. Severus had his faults can't deny that but i believe James was always jealous of Lily's friendship with Sev and would have done anything to sabotage it. Hanging Sev upside down in front of everyone wasn't just teasing it was bullying and humiliating. Lily finished her friendship with Snape for 2 reasons. First was the fact that he called her a mudblood. một giây was the future Death Eaters he was hanging out with, and the dark arts he was practising and getting increasingly obsessed with. Neither reason had anything to do with James. If James had told her she should stop being Những người bạn with Snape - hoặc even suggested that idea - it seems to me that she'd refuse.
