“I'm going to miss you”. My mother told me before I boarded the plane to Washington State. Two months cách đây I had agreed to di chuyển to Forks to live with my father Charlie, to give my mother and her husband Phil some space. I hadn't seen Charlie in forever. When I was little I used to visit him every summer but that stopped around when I was 13. I still kept in contact with him though.
My Father picked me up from the airport. Oh, and did I forget to mention it was in his police cruiser. Great, how much thêm embarrassing could it get. I'd forgotten that he was the police chief, the whole town was probably anticipating my arrival. “Wow I haven't seen bạn in a while, Bella. There wasn't much to expect when it came to the weather, except for rain.

We pulled into the driveway, and I noticed that there was already another car parked in front of the house. “ Wait, do bạn mean Billy who bạn always used to go fishing with?” I volunteered. Charlie smiled, I must have been right. I remember Billy had twin daughters, Rachel and Rebecca. Though every time they came up, Charlie and Billy always expected us to get along. But since they were older than me they always ignored me and suggested I play with their younger brother Jacob.

“Really! Thanks Dad. bạn didn't have to.” I replied thankfully. It was already getting late, so we decided just to order in pizza. After eating Charlie sat down to watch some TV, and I headed up to my room to unpack my stuff. My room was basically purple, with various shades. I unpacked my clothes into a few of the empty drawers and turned my computer on and checked tomorrow's weather forecast. Yes! It was going to be 62.6 Fahrenheit (17 Celsius). “Yes, of course. That's probably a good idea, but I have to go up to the station tomorrow so you'll have to do that on your own.” he responded, while un-muting the TV.
“That's okay” I responded to the air as I walked back upstairs to my bedroom. I layed down on my giường figuring I should probably get some sleep. I dozed off a few phút later.
I woke to the sound of an alarm clock, that I never set. It was 9:00 am. I hopped out of giường and went downstairs. I guess Charlie never went up to giường because he was fast asleep on the đi văng with the TV on a low volume. On the phòng bếp, nhà bếp counter there was a box of cereal. After searching through the cabinets I finally found a bowl. I poured myself some cereal and grabbed a spoon. I guess the noise must have woken Charlie up because he turned off the TV and joined me at the phòng bếp, nhà bếp table. “Morning, Bella.” Charlie greeted me. “Your still going to look around town today right?” He asked me.
“Yes, I'm going to leave after I get dressed.” I told him, as I placed my bowl in the dishwasher. “And Thanks again for the car.” He nodded. I went back to my giường and through on a pair of black sweat pants and a light yellow tee. I packed a backpack with a bottle of water and a sweater just in case I got cold.

I laughed silently to myself.
“I was just leaving bạn can tham gia me if you'd like, I'm just going to look around the town.” I responded. He nodded and joined me in the passenger seat.
