IOI\'s Kim Se Jung gets personal about her past family hardships

Kim Se Jung got a little personal about her family on the May 17 broadcast of JTBC\'s \'With You.\'

Se Jung was talking about how her mother raised her all on her own by taking on multiple jobs and how her parents split when she was still a child. She revealed, "I didn\'t keep in touch with my father until third year in middle school. That was the first time seeing my father after ten years." 

Se Jung may have come from a struggling family but now she\'s doing very well for herself. Just imagine how proud Se Jung\'s mother and father must be of her for making it so far! 

Well I\'m happy that she\'s made it this far and didn\'t let her past get in the way

when she say thank you for her mother and brother, I know her father isn\'t pass away, but he left them, if he died, she would say thank you for my father who\'s watching me from heaven (or sth similar) I also heard she change the Yanghwa Bridge lyric from appa to omma. sometimes people who trough so much hardship achieved success

Even Sejeong\'s mom is amazing~ That\'s why Sejeong is so bright and bubbly! Sejeong explained how her mom took several jobs to raise her, so when she wanted to sing, she couldn\'t tell her mom because she was afraid that if she failed, it would affect her mother. But her mom told her: "It\'s your life. You don\'t need to worry about me. Do what you want to do."

I know right. Last night when I watch this episode, I\'m stunned. Honestly, her mom is really impressive. I\'m sure it\'s actually hard for both of them T^T
