@giubicri I think he just meant the fictional location won't be the real one: not Malibu but another hypotetical beach. Maybe he meant they wouldn't do a long road trip...I think it's nothing bad to worry about. I am positive they are gonna give us a couple of nice eps before throwing problmes at us ;)

Come on guys! Let's dare to keep our hopes up for once in a life-time. I am sure the first ep will be epic and perfect. We can start worry after the second one ;)

But still, they are a couple now. So there will be stages and adjustments; there will be things they'll manage to sort out, others they'll keep struggle to. But before things actually start getting worse till reaching the breaking point, we have at least half of the season. So relax, take a deep breath and enjoy the moment ;)

I'm not depressed. I just know how relationships work. Especially in House :D
I look forward to season 7 to see how Huddy will explore this relationship. I'm sure there will be drama and all (we all know Cuddy and House are both screwed up people) but I'm also sure we'll get nice and hot scenes too! ;D

Oh I know sweetie :) We are never depressed enough to kill off our Huddy enthusiasm :P I remember the dark times, when nothing was happening...I had some mood swings but, all in all, my Huddy faith has always been iron-like ;)

I'm going to see what happens. I'm not hoping for super romantic scenes like a picnic at the beach or an 'I love you', this is House MD not some Spanish soap opera! Being the crazy Huddy I am, I want some romantic scenes of course, but I also want the banter and sexual tension of the old days :D

I really want the beach images to be exactly..straight up...what they appear to be. NO flashback..no dream...no god forbid Lucas nightmare "beach dream" because Cuddy gave him the heave ho!!

I'm so exited about season premiere))) but I think that their happiness won't last for long... in one interview(I guess sky1) LE said: "...This is the show House, so no one can actually be happy..."

I don't think that the beach scenes are a dream or anything. I think Shore meant that yes they are at the beach, but it's not overly sweet, and light, and happy go lucky. The Beach Blanket Bingo is a movie. In the 1960's there were lots of surf and beach movies out for teenagers that were very light, and contained dancing and singing.

That was my same thought @mysusp. I don't think it's a dream either, I think Shore meant it's not gonna be all mushy, which is good if you ask me. I want Huddy to have some moment of happiness but I want them to keep being themselves...

Wow, I'm back to this fandom after a gazillion years and look at what we've got! Anyways, for once I believe everything is gonna be fine with Huddy. I don't think the writers are gonna kill them off any time soon cause that would be utterly stupid. Huddy is here to stay IMO.

Ayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy... We are soooo insane! Just look at how a simple line caused mass-hysteria here... Which, of course, i am a part of - my post-traumatic stress caused my heart to drop into my panties at the words "it's not what it seems" or whatever he said. But then i picked it up, put it back in my chest and gave it a thought. Here are the conclusions:

i was never expecting a Beach Blanket Bingo. I don't think they'll camp or have sex on that beach. And i don't think that that roadtrip, or anything in the future of Huddy, will be what we expect it to be. Let me explain:

our heads are filled with crap pop culture, in which romance can only be expressed through cheesiness. We are filled with "romantic" stereotypes, such as dinners and candles and roses and music and beach fires and rings popping out of cakes. Well, Huddy will not be like this. "House" as a show will NEVER make the compromise of expressing their love and amazing union through cheesy stereotypes and clichees. It will, however, invent a new and spectacular way to express Huddy as a couple - just like they invented a new and true way to express everything else on this earth.

So, what i expect is a new and sensational level of couple-dom. One that manages to express love, commitment and happiness through new and unexpected means, that are infinitely more true, more authentic, more veridical, more romantic and more beautiful than the "traditional" stereotypes.

For instance, what if there is a roadtrip, but there is no sex? What if House (attention: House, not Cuddy!) wants to spend time alone with her, but without having sex - because what he is feeling right now is of such intensity and depth, that he wants to taste every second of it without the interference of lust? And they go away, they kiss and hug and hold hands, and they do stuff, like the beach and the movies (doesn't that look like a cinema, where they are in the second round of photos?), and they sleep in each other's arms, but they only breathe eachother in, and this spectacular moment, and the sex comes later?

I had those thoughts DB!! I've been wondering also if House would want to tak Cuddy on a date first--and I also agree with you about the usual cliche sitcom romance. It's so difficult for us to infer what will happen because our minds run in the customary paths that we are used to seeing in movies, sitcoms etc.

Yeah, @DB I can't figure out what this is either. And I agree with you BTW, on everything you said. Conventional patterns do not work with House...that's why I am positive we will never gonna figure anything out XD And I like it! I don't want to spoil myself the surprise ;) That's why I love this show: unpredictable, as always :D

Just a little thought: it's not a date and let's make a pact to never, ever call it a date. A date is a commercial concept that usually refers to cheesy setup for two people who just met to get into each other's pants:)))))

This is a celebration. It is a journey that celebrates the love of two people who have known eachother and loved eachother for years and years. Them just running away together and spending intimate, quiet moments together makes sense - in this amazing moment they are in, it makes sense that they absorb each other like this before having sex.

Also, we might be very wrong:)))))))))))))))) But i guessed the "Help Me" finale, and i guessed there'll be a roadtrip weeeks ago. So i might be right, stick with me!!!!!
No, i'm just kidding. Sometimes my intuintion (=obssession) pays off and i get something right (like when my wishful thinking becomes true). But most of the time, no matter how hard i obssess over it, no matter how many spoilers i read and no matter how much guessing we do, they always surprise us.

I've been amusing myself trying to read the spanish comments with my high school spanish. I basically can read something that translates" Major.....of the emotion with the spoiler. Something about House reciting poems...details especially with Cuddy, and moments very diverting
not terrible for only two years of spanish and never using it in over ten years ha ha

I've thought that this is almost like a courtship since they are already so committed.
