She had been blaming herself for what had happened but House knew she wasn’t guilty for anything. He was, he had been the stubborn đít, mông, ass who wouldn’t obey her and he was the one that had played the game until Cuddy couldn’t do anything else but take his motorcycle causing him to use his car.

House was guilty and he felt every part of that guilt specially when he stared at Cuddy, she was suffering as well and that was hurting him. He cared for her because she had been there while he recovered. Wilson had been there too but he didn’t feel guilty.

The poor girl had been scold over the fault of his older brother and even though the girl didn’t do anything wrong she still felt bad and she wished she could rescue his older brother.
