I believe emotional stability is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is great, but it's still as strong as it is no matter what's happening in your surroundings. Emotion is something that is constantly adapting.

This is just my opinion, but I would definitely not say Edward was emotionally stable. On the other hand I would love to have Hermione's knowledge because I don't believe she is just brainy, she is witty and street-smart as well.

Why oh why does poor Sev always get left out? :( I'd much rather have his loyalty than any of those things.
