	DarkSarcasm picked I really don't think Gendry is that big a deal: V's Golden Crown was also a pretty great moment. Theon wouldn't be Theon if he was a Stark. He'd be all honorable and stuff. (And less interesting.) Good, honorable characters have a tendency to die quicker than the rest - Ned, Jory, Ser Rodrik, Jon Arryn, Septa Mordane, link... Being a Stark might've saved him some emotional turmoil, but as far as lifespan goes...
