Okay this soapbox sadly, is going to point fingers so people can learn from this. I don't like having to point fingers but it seems no one gets the message across if it isn't done.

What is bulk posting? It's when bạn post multiple things all at the same time. So when bạn do that the những từ khóa bạn give are going to be the same for every single thing bạn post.

Why do people bulk post? Well the excuse used can be "I want to share great content with others" but really it turns thêm into a quantity over quality.

Why is this harming keywords? When people bulk post they only put a general amount of keywords...

Good Grammar is Sexy

Yes, yes it is.

As some of bạn may know, I often suffer from grammar-induced rage blackouts. These can be triggered bởi anything from a misplaced apostrophe to the incorrect usage of "your" and "you're". So, I decided to do something about it.. mostly because I'm afraid the tiếp theo dangling modifier I come across might send me spiraling into a violent rampage the likes of which have never been seen.

I understand that a lot of Fanpoppers are not native English speakers, and thus might not have as good a hold on our sometimes ridiculously complicated grammatical rules. Obviously, I can't fault them for their mistakes....

Right, I have been thinking about this. I have been thinking about certain things on fanpop recently and as much as I tình yêu this place there are certain things that irk me.

Hate Spots
I've seen spots that are about hating a certain thing. I thought this place was thêm about sharing things we enjoy so we can give each other images, links, videos, etc not "oh I hate this and this and this". It doesn't make anything friendly.

Me Me Me Spots

Okay everybody on fanpop is a người hâm mộ of something, bạn have to be, But what is a true fan? Well, I'll tell you.
According to Webster's Dictionary, a người hâm mộ is
A:
Function: noun
Etymology: probably short for fanatic
1 : an enthusiastic devotee (as of a sport hoặc a performing art) usually as a spectator
2 : an ardent admirer hoặc enthusiast (as of a celebrity hoặc a pursuit) <science-fiction fans>

This is a great definition of a người hâm mộ of a baseball team hoặc a specific person, such as the Yankees hoặc Brad Pitt. But is that really what the những người hâm mộ on fanpop are? No....

"Ghost Accounts" - 3 Reasons Why bạn Shouldn't Cheat on Picks

So I was hanging out on my computer this evening, watching some video and browsing on Fanpop, when I noticed something that disturbed me. In not one, but two different spots. I discovered several examples of what I believe to be "Ghost Accounts".

"Ghost Accounts" are what I'm calling additional accounts created bởi an already existing fanpop member to skew the results of a pick hoặc an argument in their favor. I have read things đã đăng bởi other Fanpoppers suggesting their existence in the past, but hadn't knowingly spotted any for myself. Tonight I believe I spotted three different people doing...

Have bạn noticed that people on this site add lots and lots of things and gain load's of những người hâm mộ then out of nowhere are never adding again hoặc only add now and then. Look through your người hâm mộ danh sách and see who is still adding and praise them for there loyalty and praise even thêm hoặc even điểm thưởng them for their work, they all deserve it.

How To Make A good Pick On Fanpop!

Ok, I usually don't make user guides but this one needs to be made. I have seen a lot of picks and a lot of them are boring hoặc annoying. Here is a danh sách of steps to help bạn out.

1. Try to have thêm than three các câu trả lời if possible. If the câu hỏi is "Who should Jim be with?" Put, Karen and Pam, and then put an answer like neither hoặc Katy.

2.Always have pictures for the câu hỏi if it isn't a yes, no, hoặc maybe question. Pictures bring in thêm những người hâm mộ and make the picks thêm interesting.

3. Try to ask các câu hỏi that people haven't already asked and các câu hỏi that people will be interested in. Don't make it boring.

I have a pet peeve.

As a writer, I have found my stuff đã đăng on other websites without my permission, and sometimes without so much as a mention that it was MY article... hoặc a link back to the original. This ticks me off, and it is illegal to do so.

I have not come across this on fanpop with các bài viết yet, but I have seen it numerous times on images.

Some of the people I adore the most are even doing it. I have to assume innocence here and figure some folks just don't know... so I'ma tell ya ;)

Credit. Credit. Credit. The option to add the bức ảnh credit when bạn đệ trình an image is there for a reason....

Well, I have cuz I have pictures on my computer, seasons of the show, and some soundtracks of the show. See a lot of people can be judgemental sometimes. Now, that can be annoying.
