The Levels of Fanpopage

As I see it there are 3 levels of Fanpopage. In this soapbox I have defined these levels for my entertainment and hopefully yours too.
1. The Sometimes User- These are the users who get on 1-3 times a week mainly just to check messages and a few of their yêu thích spots. They don't spend enough time to add a whole lot of content (if any). The thêm avid users would say, "They just haven't be bitten bởi the fanpop bug yet."
2. The Devoted User- Those users who spend a few hours on fanpop everyday and add a fair amount of content. And while they are invested in Fanpop, they do have a life other than...

xin chào guys i couldn't really find a link hoặc anything about the fanpop chat, so this is basically my guide about the functions, a bit about etiquette and a few tips thrown in here and there. This part of my user's guide covers the reporting mechanism and how to use it to maintain good content on the site. It was last updated on 25 December 2009.

As bạn continue to use Fanpop, bạn will come across content that is not what it should be in some way. Since fanpop is largely only as good as the content it contains, it is important to address these issues for the good of the site and the fanpop community.

Now, most of the content that "is not what it should be" is likely just content that bạn don't like, and such content should be rated appropriately (see the link). But, rarely, there...

Well....I have....quite recently....today in fact.

It started when I created my new Proboards site, link a few days ago. I was so excited, because I just helped my friend with hers and she has over 30 hoặc thêm members on it, so I was hoping I would get the same feedback.

Day one-1 Member...a friend of mine.

Day two-no members.

Day three-14 guests, no members.

Day four-still no members.

Do bạn ever find when bạn make a spot it is always bạn adding all the time with the odd add from another user? That even when bạn get over 100 những người hâm mộ to the spot its can still be just bạn adding all the time. Till one ngày bạn can't add any thêm hoặc bạn don't want to. I have found this a problem with a few of my spots where it is just me adding page after page of video and links.

So basicly this is just me asking every người hâm mộ please just go to a spot that hasnt been updated in a while and just add one thing to it please !!! (and i know this sounds like a charity advert lol)

Panic! Something isn't working!

I am here to talk about the "report" button. It seems not many of us know of this button when it comes to videos, đường dẫn etc and would rather just say "it doesn't work *cry*", so here is a step bởi step of what to do.

1. If the video bạn are trying to watch is not working and does not say "video broken hoặc no longer here" click on the title. This will bring bạn to the page where the video first came from.

2. If the video definately does not work click the little flag.

3. Once you've clicked it there will be an assortment of options to choose from. Choose wisely though and appropriately....

I want to start bởi saying that I think it is absolutely brilliant. I visit several times a ngày and there is always something new to see. In my eyes that is the beauty of it right?

Bulk posting kills những từ khóa

Okay this soapbox sadly, is going to point fingers so people can learn from this. I don't like having to point fingers but it seems no one gets the message across if it isn't done.

What is bulk posting? It's when bạn post multiple things all at the same time. So when bạn do that the những từ khóa bạn give are going to be the same for every single thing bạn post.

Why do people bulk post? Well the excuse used can be "I want to share great content with others" but really it turns thêm into a quantity over quality.

Why is this harming keywords? When people bulk post they only put a general amount of keywords...
