Duplicate hình ảnh tend to really bother me in certain spots, and I’ve observed that I’m far from the only one. I know it’s difficult sometimes to know if an image has been uploaded into a spot hoặc not when there are 999,483,937 uploads, especially when they’re lacking in the từ khóa department.
Google has this nice new feature called a Reverse Image Search. With a reverse image search, bạn are able to đăng tải hoặc link an image into the tìm kiếm bar and you’ll be được trao a danh sách of web pages containing your selected image.
(I’m about to walk bạn through the steps. I’ll be using a picture from link)
* First, visit link. (tinyeye.com is also another reverse image tìm kiếm engine, but it doesn’t have fanpop in its database, so don’t bother.)
* Click on the camera biểu tượng located at the end of the tìm kiếm bar.
---A box will pop up. If bạn have the image saved to your computer, click on the “upload an image” link, and… đăng tải the image. If it’s easier to get the image URL, get the url and paste it in the textbox.
*Click tìm kiếm and you’ll be taken to a danh sách of results, as Google usually does. In some cases, such as this one, Google will add a word to describe your image.
---In most cases, if the image is already uploaded onto Fanpop, it will be displayed as one of the hàng đầu, đầu trang results
*If fanpop doesn’t come up as one of the results,
try erasing Google’s guess and type in “Fanpop”, then click tìm kiếm again.
*By this point, bạn should have your answer.
The hàng đầu, đầu trang result will ALWAYS be:
“Fanpop - người hâm mộ các câu lạc bộ for everything. What are bạn a người hâm mộ of?
www.fanpop.com/
Fanpop is a network of người hâm mộ các câu lạc bộ for những người hâm mộ of television, movies, âm nhạc and thêm to discuss and share photos, videos, news and opinions with fellow fans. 42 images...”
So ignore that.
What bạn need to look for is the results that follow. If bạn don't get any fanpop results, then you’re an toàn, két an toàn to đăng tải the image without committing the crime of duplication.
If bạn DO get a fanpop result, make sure bạn follow the link and actually check which spot it was uploaded to. (You wouldn’t want to miss out on your opportunity just because someone uploaded the same image to the ngẫu nhiên spot 2.5 years cách đây hoặc because it’s the thumbnail of some video)
If bạn get thêm than one fanpop result, then that most likely means that the image has been uploaded to thêm than one spot, as demonstrated below.
hoặc that the image appears on thêm than one url in one single spot, which is completely normal (the spot’s homepage, image page, các hình nền page, the page for the image itself, the related hình ảnh thumbnail, a pick icon, etc.)
hoặc that a duplicate was added at some point hoặc another.
Here’s to hopes for less duplicate images.
Cheers!

Yesterday, I was fanpoping. I come across the link spot- And went to videos. link is what I saw. There were táo, apple pie video there. đã đệ trình bởi Hulu.
link are some hình ảnh bởi other fanpopers reporting this.
Hulu's video should NOT be done bởi a webcrawler. (or whatever bạn call it) Dave, either have a manual team do hulu's videos, hoặc dont do it at all.
EDIT: as amazondebs says in the comments, fanpop isen't even getting paid for hulu's videos. What is the purpose of having them here?
(Another) EDIT: thêm of this maddness. and in link spot!
Let me tell bạn how I first discovered fanpop. (Just bored so thought I'd write this)
I was on the net looking for pictures. I then came across a site (Which is this one really) and clicked the link.
I never knew what this site was hoặc what and thought it was one of those many sites like twitter and Facebook.
Browsing some thêm I accidentally landed on someone's thông tin các nhân page and scrolling down say there were pic's looking like cubes. On hàng đầu, đầu trang there were titled 'Clubs'.
I noticed a familiar biểu tượng of my favourite actor and clicked on it.
It was cool, it was like a website just full of that actors info.
I noticed they had câu đố and took part.
Than I released that bạn had to sign up to record what bạn got right/wrong etc.
Thats when I decided to log on and realised I was SOOO ADDICTED TO IT!
(Hey I don't even spend so0 much time like this on Facebook!)
So that was how I discovered Fanpop-not to dramatic hoặc interesting, but i found my rabbit hole.
Whats yours?
