Unlike SB vs M, this one had some mixed results for some of the questions.

O = Original
R = Remake
O and R = Original and Remake

Favorite Cinderella

R 2

Ella and Lọ lem were both equally good characters, they were both kind, both tried to make the best out of a bad situation, and both had courage. There are mixed feelings for Ella though; she was constantly smiling even when being insulted, she was được trao a poor reason to stay in her home, her character used the "always be kind" in a way that made her a doormat for her stepfamily even when her father was alive, and while the original Lọ lem actually gave the impression that Lọ lem was a prisoner in her own home, the remake Ella not only leaves the trang chủ several times, she actually has human Những người bạn who could help her. But people do tình yêu her because she had thêm screentime compared to the original, she saved the deer from the hunting party, and những người hâm mộ say she's one of/the only best remake princesses so far. But as good as Ella was, Lọ lem still won this round because of nostalgia and even with her not having a lot of screentime in her movie she still made a huge impact on những người hâm mộ of all ages with her sarcastic wit, her kindness, her beauitful singing, and her dreaming.

Favorite Lady Tremaine
O 5
R 3
O and R 1

Like Lọ lem vs Ella, both versions of Lady Tremaine were equally good. They were both manipulative, cruel, graceful, and any scene they were in they owned that scene. Cate Blanchett did an incredible job as Lady Tremaine. She may not have had the same glare the original Lady Tremaine had, but she had her own villainous look that she made her own that didn't look forced. The biggest difference between the two is while in the original it's only told in the beginning through narration why Lady Tremaine hated Lọ lem so much, in the remake Lady Tremaine explains the reason herself and the remake actually humanizes her bởi having her talk how she Mất tích the tình yêu of her life and then so soon after remarrying she Mất tích her một giây husband. In the end, the original Lady Tremaine wins most likely because of nostalgia reasons and because some những người hâm mộ consider her to be thêm villainous than the live action version.

Favorite Stepsisters
O 8
R 1

The stepsisters in the original weren't as manipulative hoặc as graceful as Lady Tremaine was but they weren't overshadowed bởi her, they were still memorable and left an impact on viewers, especially when they tore apart Cinderella's dress in the original. In the remake while they did have about as much screentime as their mother, they don't leave as much of an impact, only being there to be comic relief. In the original the stepsisters could be seen as Lady Tremaine's evil sidekicks but they were still their own characters, they did things on their own. In the remake they're pretty much just following Lady Tremaine's lead. They didn't even start tearing apart Cinderella's dress until Lady Tremaine started doing it.

Favorite Fairy Godmother
O 7
R 2

Nostalgia wins again for this one. The remake version the Fairy Godmother wasn't bad, some những người hâm mộ just weren't a người hâm mộ of her. She was funny and kind and she had a look that almost looked Tim Burtonesqe (like the White Queen in Alice in Wonderland). The original Fairy Godmother was like a sweet grandmother some people grew up with with a sweet old lady voice to match. Like Mrs. Potts and Grandmother Willow, the Fairy Godmother is a sweet old woman we all loved growing up so replacing her with a younger woman who is a little ditzy is a change some people don't like

Favorite Animal Sidekicks (ex. Lucifer and mice)
O 7
R 2

There are mixed các lượt xem for both versions of the animal sidekicks. The original animal sidekicks are thêm memorable and funny but some những người hâm mộ don't like the constant cat and mice scenes while the live action animal sidekicks look thêm real and don't steal Ella's spotlight but they don't offer much. Honestly, if the animal sidekicks were left out of the remakes they wouldn't have been missed since we didn't see them much.

Favorite Prince
O 2
R 7

Remake finally wins a round! The Prince's character change was probably the best in the live action movie. If it weren't for the sequels, we wouldn't know anything about the original prince at all. Kit had thêm screentime, thêm personality, thêm lines, and he was actually part of the tìm kiếm for the mystery princess and was the one to put the glass slipper on Ella's foot. The users who voted for original didn't give so I can only assume they picked it for nostalgia reasons.

Favorite King
O 8
R
O and R 1

The original King had thêm screentime than his son and he spent that time being comedy relief, in a good way. I've seen some những người hâm mộ dislike his tantrums and the King himself (tbh I'm not a huge người hâm mộ of them either) but there are other những người hâm mộ who thought his tantrums were hilarious. The King in the remake didn't have the same temper as the original but he wasn't on screen as much. But when he was on screen it was spent with his son and hiển thị their relationship. Despite this the King in the remake isn't as memorable as the King in the original.

Favorite Grand Duke
O 9
R

As interesting as it is that the live action Duke was changed to be a villain of the movie, trying to set up Kit with a princess and making that deal with Lady Tremaine, những người hâm mộ were disappointed to see such a funny animated character from the original changed to be the complete opposite.

Favorite Prince and Princess Meeting
O 4
R 4
O and R 1

Look at this tie! There wasn't a lot of reasonings as to why some people picked what, one user đã đưa ý kiến the remake meeting wasn't rushed, one đã đưa ý kiến the meeting in the remake looked too similar to the one in Sleeping Beauty, and one đã đưa ý kiến they preferred the original and wished the couple got to know each other during the walk through the garden in the original (though they might have since all we could hear was So This is Love). Maybe the other people who picked might feel the same way as the other users who did say why they picked remake/original, maybe some people picked original because of nostalgia, maybe some people picked remake because we actually get to hear Ella and the prince have a conversation, whatever the reasons why, neither meeting is better than the other. The way the prince and Lọ lem met at the ball may seem rushed, it was still cute and the way the prince and Lọ lem might have been similar to the meeting in Sleeping Beauty but it was nice to see them talk.

Favorite Dress Tearing scene
O 9
R

Okay it's pretty obvious why the original wins this one. The dress tearing scene in the original is an emotional and traumatic scene, probably one of the most emotional traumatic scenes in the Disney franchise. In the original Lọ lem comes down excited, twirling around in her mother's dress that her little Những người bạn finished for her and all Lady Tremaine needed to do was mention the chuỗi hạt, chuỗi hạt cườm Lọ lem was wearing that Drizella threw away and that set things into motion. Both stepsisters start shredding that dress while Lọ lem pleads them to stop until Lady Tremaine calmly tells them that that was enough and they leave Lọ lem standing there hopelessly, even lifting one of the shredded fabrics of the váy of her mother's dress and then the một giây the door shuts Lọ lem bursts into tears and runs out to the garden. Here's why it didn't work in the remake; Ella already broke down once earlier in the movie after her stepmother doesn't let her eat breakfast at the bàn so her breakdown after her mother's dress gets ripped up isn't as emotional. Another reason it didn't work is because while in the original the dress was torn up and left unrecognizable in the end, the remake dress just had a few rips here and there and could have easily been fixed later. Ella still couldn't have gone to the ball with her dress ripped but her dress wasn't torn to shreds like Cinderella's was.

Favorite Ballgown
O 5
R 3
Original and Remake 1

The ballgown in the cartoon has been a Disney symbol for decades, it's so much thêm memorable than some of the formal gowns we've seen in the Disney Princess franchise. Tons of little girls wear this dress and some women wear wedding dresses designed similar to the ballgown, and a celebrity even wore it at the 2019 Met, with another celebrity dressed similar to the Fairy Godmother who waved their wand and the dress brightened up and sparkled. It's a pretty dress but there's some parts of it những người hâm mộ don't like, mostly the sleeves. So it might have been good that the remake ballgown was designed differently, being a dark blue with thêm detail and with bướm on it as if a tribute to the little con bướm, bướm Ella's father gave her when she was a child. The ballgown in the remake is beautiful but it's not as iconic as the original

Favorite Ball Dance
O 4
R 4
O and R 1

Look! Another tie! Once again, the people who chose original hoặc remake didn't say why they preferred original over remake so, once again, I'm going with the nostalgia reason. I was only được trao one reason why someone preferred the remake because the choreography was very realistic and lively. Both dances were very beautiful though.

Favorite Chase
O 5
R 4

The chase in the original was intense while the chase in the remake was thêm funny with little intensity. Again, only one user đã đưa ý kiến they preferred the original because of the music. The users who picked the original chase scene might prefer how intense it was watching the palace guards chase Cinderella's carriage as the clock chimed and the magic used on Cinderella, the pumpkin, and her animal Những người bạn slowly wore off. And the users who chose remake probably liked the silliness of the scene as the động vật slowly went back to normal and Ella exploded out of the quả bí ngô, bí ngô after it was no longer a carriage.

Favorite Slipper Breaking scene
O 5
R 3
O and R 1

It's funny that in the remake even though the slippers' roles are reversed, Lady Tremaine is still the reason both versions of a slipper ended up broken. In the original when it looks like Lọ lem has a chance to have a happy ever after, Lady Tremaine trips the servant bringing the slipper, causing him to fall and drop the slipper so it shatters on the floor. And when the Duke is beginning to cry on the floor and Lady Tremaine has a smug look on her face, Lọ lem announces she has the other slipper and pulls it out of her pocket and we get the pleasure of seeing the look of shock on Lady Tremaine. In the remake, Lady Tremaine finds the slipper in Ella's room and tries to force Ella into a deal that would have only benefited her (marrying off her daughters and being the one in charge of the kingdom instead of Kit). When Ella says no, Lady Tremaine breaks the slipper and takes it to the lâu đài to make a deal with the Duke. Both versions are well done but the remake can't beat Lọ lem pulling out the other slipper and seeing the look on Lady Tremaine's face.

Favorite A Dream is a Wish Your tim, trái tim Makes

Lily James has a beautiful hát voice but it's a bit generic. Illene Woods had a unique sounding voice and her hát had a way of making some people listening to be under the same "spell" the mice and birds were under as they listened to Lọ lem sing at the beginning of the movie.

Favorite Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo

Helena Bonham Carter also has a beautiful hát voice but for most people it couldn't hàng đầu, đầu trang Verna Felton.

Original Lọ lem is the winner!

Beauty and the Beast bài viết will be up tomorrow!
This native American princess has just one dress through out the film, just one. So this may not take long. If I have missed out on a dress that's not mentioned please bình luận below and I will definitely cover it on the tiếp theo article.

1. Native dress
This is for a nice dress and is pretty. It's a light brown dress, a blue chuỗi hạt, chuỗi hạt cườm and that's it. It's not really exciting but for and i would not wear it, but its OK. 5/10

Since we are half way through my các bài viết of Disney princesses (6 left to do the tiếp theo being Mulan) i will now explain the best scores so far on my opinion phiếu bầu and see if bạn would...

Happy (belated) Mothers’ Day, fanpop! I meant to post this yesterday but got busy. In honor of Mothers' ngày this month, I've put together a ranking of how I imagine the princesses themselves would be as mothers. I’m including Anna and Elsa in this list, though instead of assigning them a number their names will be placed in parentheses where they would fall on the list, in an effort to keep those who don’t like seeing them on DP lists happy. Let me preface this bởi saying this is not set in stone. it's just a prediction based on what I've seen of the princesses in their movies. I don’t...

The Most Beautiful tình yêu Story ever Told!
The Most Beautiful Love Story ever Told!
Hi guys, since the release of Disney's Beauty and the Beast back in 1991. Here are my favourite Pop version of the theme song in no ngẫu nhiên order and what I think about the song, as well as the singers themselves.

Beauty and the Beast (Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson)

When I first heard the song, I immediately fell in tình yêu with it! Especially Celine's voice and the arrangements of it. Peabo Bryson was another amazing singer in his own rights and I was very glad that they were the perfect singers to do this iconic song!
This song has been part of my childhood and I was happy that it is part of...

I wanted to write an bài viết on things and concepts from DP phim chiếu rạp that struck me with awe, left me speechless, inspired me and made me believe that magic is for real. The things that truly symbolized all the charm of magical world.

10. Cinderella's transformation and waltz with Prince:
This is what the dreams should be made of, this is what heavens feel like. Everything poor and dirty will change to new and shining, on flick of a wand. That silvery blue áo choàng and crystal white carriage and moonlit path to a lâu đài makes me sigh. And the waltz was so pure magic, with unbelievably gorgeous moonlit...

All right, this doesn't count as a real bài viết bởi me. This counts as a ngẫu nhiên blurb...addressing the DP stereotype that all of the prior Disney Princesses save the Revival/ Modern ones... all married their guys the same ngày they met them.

Broken down, as I have watched all thirteen movies... this is what I FOUND out is the ACTUAL CASE.

Snow White meets Ferdinand within the first five phút of the film, and he woos her so to speak. But many, many, many DAYS PASS before he comes upon her in the coffin in the woods, figuratively "dead" from a poison táo, apple bite. At the end of the movie, Snow...
