A MUCH better villain, wouldn't bạn agree?
A MUCH better villain, wouldn't you agree?
So many times on this site I have talked about why I think Maleficent is a bad villain and I have tried explaining once (Swanpride remembers this) but I ended up using tons of bad arguments and I didn't word it properly so now I want to try it again. If bạn have any disagreements, I would tình yêu to thảo luận about this in the các bình luận so feel free to state your opinions.

What I consider a good villian is not all about cool posing hoặc evil laughs. It's not all about how evil they seem bởi the way that they act hoặc how many people they get to fear of them. To me, it's all about the ruthlessness, the realims, tactics, and the way they set a theme into a villian. Maleficent's concept was an interesting concept. Maleficent is a symbol of all evil. Maleficent has no care of any being, basically a satanic type villain.

The way that they portrayed this into the storyline though did not quite exactly make sense though. Maleficent arrives at a party and decides to strike fear into people because "she was not wanted". To get revenge and prove to them to do what she orders, she casts a spell on Aurora and that on her sixteenth birthday she will prick her finger into a spindle and die.

During this scene, how she was diễn xuất during her appearance seems quite artificial and makes her appear as a cliche type villain. Their wasn't a single thing about her that made her unique. Yes, she was quite interesting, but not very much on the unique side. thêm of one of those villains that bạn would think of when bạn think of a cliche story.

She appears during that scene and the first thing that comes out of her mouth is..... An evil laugh, of course! Not only that, but she starts giving her evil laugh way too many times during the scene to be realistic in any way, shape, hoặc form.

The tiếp theo thing is, if Disney wanted to make an interesting rounded villain, they could have made her shades of grey rather then all a dark character. The other option would be to portray this symbol in a better way, but they didn't. They kept her cliche. It's not like Shan Yu, he was an action based character and his role in the movie was made up bởi his actions rather then his dialogue.

Now Maleficent is not horrendous at playing her role as a villain. She is bad (I will get to that later), but not as bad as some other villians. The main thing that get's me about Maleficent is the way she was done.

tiếp theo thing, she has bad motives. Why would the devil want to come to a christening? This makes absolutely no sense! Why would the devil want to do that, why? People say this shows thêm realism in the fact that she is a quite evil symbol, but she wasn't được trao a backstory hoặc anything to give us more.

I get it, she was evil and all, but quite artificially evil. A very flat and boring symbol who is made up of very basic and small amount of traits. Not developed at all and not very rounded either. She doesn't have much thought put into her. How easy is it to think of a dark and evil character? She needs to have some kind of perspective hoặc something shown of her in the movie. She is made up of basic traits and is nothing much.

And really, the only reason why people really like her is because of her whole theme. Like just as it was mentioned above, people are so focused on her evilness and her whole theme of green and devil màu sắc they don't pay attention to anything regarding her depth.

Maleficent is of course super powerful but take a một giây to think, imagine if Maleficent didn't have her powers. Would her character be the same? No. It would not. Which is of course reasonable, but my main point is, people think Maleficent has a real character but she doesn't. Her powers take up her character and it distracts everyone from her herself. Her power is the thing that is moving her throughout the movie and without it she is nothing. She never had a chance for us to see her make a big decision like we did for Shan Yu, we never got to see if she was Công chúa tóc xù hoặc anything because we can't thanks to her power. Her power is the thing that is making her seem like this great character but really she isn't. Without her power she is nothing. Shan Yu on the other hand is smart, brave, calm, adaptable, ruthless and we got to see that alot rather then having his strength take over the film.
Om Nelle is a cute and smart nommie. Those who grew up with Om Nom in their childhood remember him. Om Nelle, the wife of Om Nom, truly deserves to be a Disney princess, as much as Mulan.
Well, Om Nelle may not be a Disney princess, but Mulan isn't actually a princess either. Her heroism made Mulan a princess, even though she had nothing to do with the royal family. Om Nelle does a lot of heroics. Just like a Mulan. Moreover, it even has a crown. A tiara with a cute blue stone. But there are a few problems. For example, this crown is actually a belt. Also, even if this was a real crown, Om Nelle has nothing to do with royalty. Om Nelle is a creature, so not a human. That's okay because Nala in The Lion King is also an animal but is considered a Disney Princess. Now the only problem is, Disney didn't create Om Nelle. So she may be a princess in her own right, but never a Disney princess. She would still make a great Disney princess out of her.
Aurora was always third on my beauty list, but I had replaced her with Belle. Now there's Aurora instead of Rapunzel and Ariel, so she's fourth on my list. Aurora is a very beautiful princess.

Her hair reminds me of a golden waterfall. It's really nice to have your hair curled. Also, Aurora's eyes are perfect! màu tím color. The rarest eye color. Her lashes are also gorgeous and united. The shape of his payload is oval which is perfect. bạn are amazing Aurora.

I find Aurora very beautiful, but I can't say I tình yêu her very much because I find her absolutely boring. She knows nothing but dancing, hát and getting up with a kiss.

As I don't want to upset Merida fans, I'm giving my final warning:
''NEVER READ THIS bài viết IF bạn tình yêu MERİDA''
Ok, I gave my warning. This bài viết is about Merida's biggest mistakes. And about why I hate Merida. Yes, no one is perfect, but these mistakes should not be too conspicuous. For example, one of my yêu thích princesses, Elsa, was also flawed. However, Merida made a huge mistake, and I'm going to explain it today.

Merida's biggest blunder was definitely when she destroyed her mother's life for her freedom. The cake Merida gave her mother had turned her into a bear. YES, NOW I ASK YOU,...

As much as I tình yêu Nữ hoàng băng giá I and II, I think I am really starting to get real tired of it's những người hâm mộ becoming Elsa những người đang yêu and not recognizing Anna's character development and how much she has changed since the first movie.

What really gets me worked up is that ever since the một giây movie came on November 22, 2019, everyone began turning into huge unnecessary assholes and bragging about Elsa's new outfit and two doubled solo songs hát about her powers and who she is meant to be and why. They're all so flamboyant to say that Elsa has let go of the past and is staying strong and getting ready for...

I updated my yêu thích Disney songs danh sách so why not? Might as well do one here too. I know Nữ hoàng băng giá isn't a Disney Princess movie but there's some songs that are definitely worth talking about because of how much they mean to me. There's going to be one tie because I tình yêu both those songs for similar reasons so instead of copying/pasting the same reason I'm just gonna put a tie in here

The songs I have in this danh sách are based on:
1. How often I listen to/sing the song
2. Nostalgia
3. How much I relate to the song

10. I See the Light

I know this isn't one of the greatest tình yêu songs in the Disney...

Love is in the Air!
Hi guys, since Valentine ngày is today! Here are thêm songs from phim chiếu rạp and âm nhạc for this lovely day, ready?

1) (Everything I Do) I Do It For You

This theme from the 1991 film, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves would serve as the song for Snow White, Lọ lem and Princess Aurora when their respective loved ones will sing to each other.

2) I Will Always tình yêu You

Ariel and Eric will definitely sing this to each other at different location.

3) Book of Days

Since Belle tình yêu to read, this Enya song from the Far & Away is when Belle got her wish when she meets her Prince Charming in a gruffy form!...

Note: I don't have the technology to take pictures of my búp bê and display them on here. In order to see what they look like, I suggest going to websites like đàn bà gan dạ, amazon for the first couple of búp bê that I'll be reviewing.

For Christmas, I wanted to expand my Nữ hoàng băng giá doll collection. Thankfully, that did happen. The first Nữ hoàng băng giá film had several dolls, but they only made búp bê of four characters: Princess Anna, Queen Elsa, Kristoff and Prince Hans. I was able to collect one of each in addition to getting a một giây Elsa later on. The một giây Nữ hoàng băng giá film has a thêm impressive line of dolls. There's...

mmmm...I guess the one thing I like about her is that she really knows how to take care of herself out there. -Swanpride

She does one unique thing for a Disney princess: she is called out on her selfishness and mistakes bởi the narrative, owns them, AND works to fix the problem. She realizes her mom has a point as much as Merida herself does and learns to appreciate her. Also, she learns true bravery- not shooting arrows, swinging a sword, hoặc climbing waterfalls, but admitting bạn caused harm. That's never easy. Merida avoids some of the outdated tomboy princess tropes bởi doing all this, but...

1. Congrats on winning người hâm mộ of the Month! How does it feel?
Thank you! It feels really amazing. I actually was người hâm mộ of the tháng once, back in the old fanpop days when the người hâm mộ of the tháng was still fairly new. Although, back then, once bạn won once, bạn couldn't be nominated ever again, so I actually never thought I would get to be người hâm mộ of the tháng again, which makes it all the thêm of an honor for me.

2. We know bạn tình yêu Moana and Ariel, do bạn have any other yêu thích princesses?
If bạn mean of the official Disney Princesses, I'd say Mulan, Pocahontas, and Tiana are the ones I'm absolutely in...

Hey, guys! Happy beginning of Autumn! Anyway, a few weeks ago, I decided that I would maybe think about rewatching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the first time in nearly five years. After thinking about it a little thêm thought, I decided, why not ALL the Disney movies? Okay, not all of them because with online school, play practice, reading, baking, and cooking, I probably don't have time for that. But for those of bạn who are wondering what films I was thinking of watching hoặc rewatching and nghề viết văn about on Fanpop, here they are (I might put in đường dẫn to the các bài viết once I finish them):...
