My user biểu tượng (at the moment). I think this is the most beautiful princess lâu đài Disney has created.
My user icon (at the moment). I think this is the most beautiful princess castle Disney has created.
xin chào guys! So I’ve been here since the beginning of summer, and I figured it was time to make one of these since I’ve seen so many of my new Những người bạn make them, too! I haven’t really opened up to anyone about who I am and what I like, so I thought this would be a good place to start! :)

My name is Brooke and I’m 18 years old. I live in southern Delaware with my parents, my two older sisters, and my younger brother. However, I’m going to be moving to college in a couple days, so that’s going to change soon!

I originally came to fanpop when I was researching Disney history for a fun project I had in high school. The first bài viết I looked at was on here, and when I looked at the các bình luận section of the bài viết I was so impressed with how well everyone was interacting -sharing and swapping ideas about different subjects related to a club- that I just had to become a part of the discussion :) Ever since then, I’ve been a regular fanpopper, though I haven’t been as active as I want to be due to my hectic school and work schedule.

My “favorite” Disney princess has changed from năm to year. Some years, I liked Snow White the best, others Jasmine, and so on. But out of all the princesses, Ariel has remained my yêu thích for the longest time. When I was little, “The Little Mermaid” was my yêu thích Disney movie and I have always been enamored bởi Ariel’s beautiful hát voice. I remember when I was five I went through a phase where I wanted everything I own to have Ariel on it, and for the longest time, most of my clothes and toys were Little-Mermaid-themed. I think Ariel is uniquely beautiful- being the first Disney princess to have red hair and the only mermaid princess- and I tình yêu her personality. Like me, she’s very curious about the world around her and is a dreamer. Her stubbornness can get her into trouble sometimes (as mine does, too from time to time) and despite her naivety, she has really deep thoughts and emotions. I tình yêu that she’s thêm than just a pretty face.

I really don’t have a “least favorite” Disney princess. I think that each princess has unique admirable qualities. However, the princess that I’m the least crazy about is Merida. I feel like Merida doesn’t have the traditional princess qualities that most of the classic princesses have (gentleness, grace, compassion, etc.) and for that reason, I don’t think she fits in well in the Disney Princess lineup. Don’t get me wrong, I tình yêu that Disney designed her to look and act thêm like a typical teenage girl as compared to the other princesses, but I’m just not as fond of her as other people are.

As far as Princes go, my yêu thích is probably Aladdin. Yes, I know, he's the underdog who isn’t really a prince, but I have a reason to like him as much as I do. Aladdin và cây đèn thần is one of the only princes who fell in tình yêu with his princess for thêm than her looks. When he tells Genie about her, he describes bởi her character traits along with her looks, and I admire the fact that he saw her inner beauty and not just her outer beauty. He’s down-to-earth, caring, and tổng thể a nice guy. Not to mention, he’s quite attractive and has a nice bod so in my eyes, he’s the complete package of what a guy should be. The only flaw he has is that he’s not always honest with people –he lied to hoa nhài for almost the entire movie- and I personally do not have much tolerance for dishonesty.

My least yêu thích prince is, bởi far, Naveen. I will admit, he IS cute, but his looks are only skin-deep. He’s selfish, vain, conceited, and full of himself. There’s nothing that can deter me thêm than if a guy acts like he’s mát, máy làm mát than he actually is. Yes, he DOES gain a little bit of humility toward the end of “The Princess and the Frog” but even so, it isn’t enough for my liking.

My hobbies: When I’m not fanpopping, I like to play the đàn ghi ta, guitar and the đàn piano (I’ve been a budding musician for most of my life), soạn thảo my own music, cook/bake, play quần vợt (my yêu thích sport), go shopping, and hang out with my Những người bạn :)

My yêu thích books: I haven’t read any leisure sách lately because I haven’t had much time for it, but some of my yêu thích sách I’ve read in the past are The Great Gatsby and Pride & Prejudice. I probably sound boring but I don’t care- I’m a sucker for the classics!

My yêu thích movies: Out of all the Disney movies, my ultimate yêu thích is The Lion King. In my opinion, that’s the best Disney movie ever made. It’s so deep, the phim hoạt hình is incredible, and the âm nhạc in it is absolutely PHENOMINAL. For princess movies, my yêu thích is obviously The Little Mermaid, since Ariel is my yêu thích princess. As far as “non-Disney” movies, my yêu thích movie is She’s the Man. I know Amanda Bynes has gone down a broken path lately, but I think she’s HILARIOUS in that movie! I also like “10 things I Hate About You” and “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.” In short, I like any and all chick flicks :)

So that pretty much all bạn should know about me! I hope I didn’t make this too long hoặc anger any of bạn with my blunt opinions. Regardless, of what bạn may have thought of this article, I want to thank bạn all for taking the time to read my post- I can’t wait to get to know even thêm of bạn and make thêm new Những người bạn on fanpop! :) 

Thought this was really the perfect time for this light read considering which months I think each DP represents the best. :D I did this based on personality and my perception of how those personalities relate to the 4 seasons as well as each month. I hope bạn guys enjoy! My apologies to non-Americans as this is heavily based on my American connotations with these months especially in regards to American holidays. Hope bạn guys don't mind!

November: Tiana
Thanksgiving has always been my absolute yêu thích #1 holiday! I tình yêu it because it brings people together over a great meal, just like James'...

Here's my danh sách of Disney Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. Mulan and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their tình yêu grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true hoặc valuable, it's my personal...

Morals, like most things, are subjective.

5. Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs

I noticed that sadness seems to be the most được ưa chuộng emotion among people and it’s understandable, no matter how strong bạn are, nothing hits bạn harder than life. True bạn should try your best to get out of a bad situation but in the process, it’s good to make the best out of it. It’s important to be grateful and remember how blessed bạn are, a positive attitude goes a long way in order to enjoy your life.

4. Brave

What I really like with Công chúa tóc xù is that it’s easy to relate to because disagreements and miscommunication...

3. Aladdin’s face was modeled after Tom Cruise’s.
4. And Ariel was partially modeled after Alyssa Milano.
5. The Jungle Book was the last animated film Walt Disney personally supervised; it was released 10 months after his death.

Ah, feminism and Disney Princess. Such a complicated relationship. Now I'm not an expert, especially being a guy but the topic of feminism in relation to the DPs has always intrigued me. I'm gonna try my hand at ranking the princesses in terms of agency, independence, heroism and other aspects to figure out which one of them is the most feminist. I'm trying to expand my nghề viết văn skills so this is gonna be chẻ, phân chia, split into three parts, starting with the bottom four.

WARNING: No Anna and Elsa in this countdown, so let's begin.

11. Aurora
Sorry guys, but I'm one of those people who believes that feminism...

Yesterday I wrote an bài viết about my yêu thích song from each DP Movie, today I'm doing an bài viết about my yêu thích song scene from each DP Movie, the only requirement for this was that the song in the scene has to mainly be sung bởi a character from the movie (this rule doesn't apply to Brave), also the song scene can of course have two songs in the scene

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs - With A Smile And A Song

This movie has many great song scenes, it was actually a bit hard to pick a favorite, but this one is currently my favorite, first of all it has one my yêu thích songs from the...

Well, according to my own preferences Mulan is the complete arrangement of relatable and admirable. She's always dutiful, she always tries to please her parents and her society. She often fails at it, but she tries her best. When she loses hope in pleasing her family, she figures she would rather sacrifice herself for her father then see him die doing what she's told. She even does such, to change her society. She takes a risk to have some value to her, which is achieving her own goals as well as helping the people she holds dear. She's clumsy, she messes up and makes bad decisions, but ultimately...
