And he will go through tough times psychologically in the next two books. I'll tell you something that did not tell anyone: it will turn human! And do not know how to handle it. But of course he will return to being a vampire before the end. I will present a new character who will be responsible for turning Damon into a vampire again. But I think this change will make Damon and Bonnie come any closer. I receive many emails saying that people will kill if these two were not together while others ask for it to be with Elena. It will be interesting to see what people will think (laughs). They are involved both with the characters!

I'm brand new to fanpop but from what I gather, this is a place where DE shippers are supposed to be able to come and mingle with and talk about Delena with OTHER DE fans. Is it not? So I think it's very unfair that we have to read about Bonnie/Damon fans' opinions in our own shipping club. If this were a VD only club, then I can see all opinions coming into play but here, can we just ask to have some peace and let us talk about DE amongst ourselves? cinnamon_honey I've said it once and I will say it again. Damon & Elena belong with each other. This is a book that focuses around 3 main characters (Elena, Stephan, and Damon) and 1 heroine (Elena). Everybody else is a secondary character used to help the growth of the main characters. Thus, this is NOT a Bonnie story and if she were to end up with Damon this would make NO sense. Furthermore, if Bonnie was to some how by some miracle end up with Damon they last book would have to focus on a love story between these two characters in order to make it believable, because in no other book has there been any LARGE signs that Damon likes Bonnie romantically -- as a friend YES, as someone to care about the safety of - YES, but as a replacement love interest - HELLZ NO. I do not want to see the last book focused on a boring secondary character (i.e Bonnie). What I would like to happen is that all storylines are rapped up (e.g. Meredith's secret comes out regarding her mysterious background, Matt finds a new love interst,and Elena and Damon get together and make cute vampire babies). THE END!

ToriCaitlyn I think that Elena & Damon will end up together because in The Struggle Damon told Elena that he will have her in the end and Elena really does has strong feelings for him even if she thinks he innfluences her half the time. Can't wait see who see picks.

Arya98 Obviously Damon would be with Elena. They have such strong feelings for each other. If Damon got any closer to Bonnie, it would be in friendship, not love. Sorry Bamon fans, but I can't see Bonnie and Damon together as a couple.
