Thunder is set to return acting through MBC’s new weekend drama ‘Let The Girl Cry’. The drama is his first work and an official mark for him to be active in the entertainment world after he left MBLAQ in December, 2014.

In the drama, he will act as Hyun Seo, the son of Eun Soo who is portrayed by senior actress Ha Hee Ra. Hyun Seo is a handsome student with a weak personality, and has a dark side. He also grew up in a fairly well off family.

‘Let The Girl Cry’ is about a woman who left her work after her only son passed away. She later works in a restaurant located in front if her son’s school, so she will not forget memories of her son. The drama will replace ‘Rust Love’ in April.

Meanwhile, Thunder is currently managed by record label APOP, which is part of agency Mystic Music Entertainment with an exclusive contract. He will not just be active in music, but also in acting and variety shows.
