If you love the show you are a 'true Buffy fan' no matter how you respond to unofficial works. Like, if anything it's mine and many people's 'true fandom' that has us offended and set against watching this. I love the show too much to reward people for exploiting it for money with no mind for the consent or involvement of the creator, cast and crew, and watch it's name thrown sloppily into the race to cash in on the twilight driven vampire fad.
