just because it fits his character better. he's obviously more attractive without (and he is MOST attractive without). i like them in the middle of the series, seasons 4 -6 (and 7 actually) when they're a bit smaller than the beginning when they're so huge!

I actully think he's cuter with them.

He is more attractive with em off but when he has em it suits his character soo much better

He actually looks great with his other glasses that he gets later...these round ones in the picture aren't that good

Maybe as a glasses wearer (I can wear contacts but I'm always afraid I'm going to poke my eyes out) I find them sexy. In addion to them fitting his character and giving us one of the most Gilesy acts ever - cleaning them of course - I sort of want to have to take them off so they wouldn't break during some 'activities'

Lol Arabella! I judged purely by attractiveness. I agree that he is more Giles-ish with 'em on, and he's also damn hot with them on, but I prefer them off. And he can't clean his glasses if they're on.
