Because it was the most boring movie.

The color is sometimes too dark, too magenta, too blue, too brown.... The story is NOT fun.

Never liked it.

What is wrong with Mariposa being "dark"? Isn't that the whole POINT of the story - that the Skeezites survive in the dark and can't handle light, so the only way to protect Flutterfield is by filling it with light? If Mariposa was set in a bright kingdom like Fairytopia, the whole problem with darkness - one of the movie's biggest plot points - wouldn't seem so relevant. However, you make a good point about how the story isn't "fun". Maybe it wasn't meant to be. To me, it comes across as a more serious adventure story, like the one in Nutcracker, and I think that's why it's my favourite fairy movie.

Sorry about that, but I'm just getting tired of being expected to explain my reasons for voting for MT since I've done so for the last few rounds and I stated it earlier. Long story short; I guess I prefer "dark" and serious to overly bright and "fashionable".

I'll have to agree completely with your statement.I'm really under the impression that this "dark" thing some of you mentioned is the actual thing which makes the movie unique.But don't make everything such a tragedy,because what could somebody ever say about Zinzie,for instance?

True. Zinzie was obviously meant to add a bit of humour to the story (and she wasn't too bad at it; I didn't like her as a character, but she could be funny at times).

I had been reading some of your comments and I would actually say the opposite.Your ideas are accurate and very well-said.Now as for Zinzie,I find her kind of irritating,but and helpful.Of course, with a reward instead.

Mermaid Tale or Three Musketeers

I really don't like the fairytopia series. But I love the "Mermaid Tale 1" and "Mermaid Tale 2" movies. But I do agree that "Mermaid tale 1" had no plot, no morals and too much fashion. "Mermaid Tale 2" was MUCH better ( except for Kylie's accent, it was more British than Australian... and it was quite annoying but it was still a good movie. )
