In Ansatsu Kyoushitsu, the girl with green hair, is her first name Kaede hoặc Kayano?

I I mean, I usually see "Kaede Kayano" in that order, and I know that the Japanese have their last names (surnames) first. However, I see Nagisa Shiota and Karma Akabane, in that order, in the same places I see Kaede Kayano. Karma is obviously his first name. Does that mean that Kaede is her first name?
Then again, Nagisa calls her Kayano. Những người bạn call each other bởi their first names. I'm so confused.

The thing is, I found out bởi googling the Japanese version of her name which is Kayano Kaede so I find out shortly after posting the question. Also, Kaede calls Nagisa bởi his first name so I wonder why it isn't the same for him...

And i can't really say why some call each other bởi different names,, Japanese is kinda weird like that man X)
