Do bạn think Amy saves the ngày too much, hoặc is that cool?

The last 2 episodes (maybe the last 3 - we're up to episode 4) Amy has saved the ngày with the Doctors help. Do bạn think think kinda defeats the purpose of DOCTOR who? I like it but I think they should let the Doctor save the ngày a couple of times. Maybe they're leading up to somthing?... :)
