Alright, so this is my first time nghề viết văn an A&O story so I apologize in advance. I want to thank link for helping me with the idea and for pushing me through my procrastination. So I hope bạn like it, it takes place after the first movie (since I have yet to see the second, I know how shameful of me).

Once In A Full Moon:

Humphrey finally felt like he belonged. Yes he was an Omega but now it wasn't just the other Omegas who knew him, the Alphas did too. It probably had something to do with being the mate of Eve and Winston's daughter but even then he felt like one of the luckiest Người sói in all of Jasper. It had been tough getting this far and Humphrey intended to make Kate feel special tonight.

Humphrey bounded down the hill, passing some pups on the way (he couldn't help but wonder whether him and Kate would have a family of their own someday). He found Kate with a few other Alphas gathered in a vòng tròn and deep in conversation.

“Now that the packs have been joined we will have to send out thêm hunting parties to provide for the extra wolves.” Kate was drawing what looked like a map in the dirt, she circled a few places and Humphrey took this as an opportunity to approach the group.
“Kate can I talk to bạn for a minute, over there.” He nodded to a cluster of trees that would be just out of earshot of the other Alphas who were looking at Humphrey from where they sat. Kate muttered something to them, to which she received a few nods. She followed Humphrey to the trees.
“This better be important.” Kate sat with her tail across her talons, her head slightly tilted to the side. Humphrey stood before her.
“I was about to request an audience with her Majesty tonight.” He bowed low to the ground, holding a paw out to Kate. “It would be a pleasure to escort bạn to a beautiful viewing of the moon tonight, unless my lady had other plans.” He looked up at Kate who smiled and told him to stand up.
“I'll meet bạn at the den at sunset.” She rubbed noses with Humphrey before returning to her trước đó business, the Alphas of which had been leaning close to where Kate had been trying to over hear what was going on. Humphrey watched her walk away, his mind a buzz for tonight.

The ngày couldn't pass quick enough for Humphrey, he had done everything he could think of to pass the time but he always ended up back where he started, thinking about Kate. When he couldn't take it any longer the sun touched the horizon and he headed for the den he shared with Kate. She was already there and as beautiful as ever with a brightly coloured hoa tucked behind one ear. It reminded him of when he had first laid eyes on her at the Moonlight Howl which hadn't been too long ago. She passed Humphrey, pausing to rub her head under his chin.
“Kate bạn look...” He was at a loss for words as the fading rays of the sun hit her coat, lighting it up like liquid gold. He could smell the soft perfume of hoa in her fur.
“Are bạn ready?” Kate snapped Humphrey from his daze as he followed her up the well worn trail to the mountain where many generations of Người sói had howled together. Kate stopped when Humphrey stopped a little ways behind her.
“What's wrong?” She circled back to him.
“I was thinking that we could try a new spot tonight.” He led her along a small path that cut through a wooded area and opened on a high ridge that over looked the entire park. The river running through the park was gleaming silver from the moonlight. It was a peaceful spot with few tracks around it, not many others knew about this spot. Kate walked to the edge and looked out at the land below.
“Humphrey, it's beautiful but how did bạn find this place?” He came to stand beside her, a breeze blowing her lông, lông thú from where it had been neatly tucked.
“The guys and I were exploring one ngày and we found it, I thought it might be a good place to spend an evening.”

The two Người sói snuggled close as the moon rose high above them. It was full and large enough to make one think they could reach out and touch it.
“I count myself lucky to have found someone like bạn Kate.” Humphrey rested one paw on Kate's. “And there’s no one I'd rather spend this time with then you.” Kate absently played with Humphrey's lông, lông thú as they laid together under the stars, neither one wanting to fall asleep. A silence fell over them, comfortable and light. Lifting his head Humphrey howled, joined soon enough bởi Kate; together they made sweet âm nhạc together just like they had many times before but some how tonight felt different.
“I will always tình yêu bạn Humphrey.” Kate whispered into his ear as her eyes closed and her breathing deepened as sleep took it's hold on her.
“And I, you.” Humphrey nuzzled her neck before he too fell asleep under the gentle light of the moon.
I decided to add a section for references and callbacks since these stories have quite a few of them. There are a couple of things that I don’t really count as references since they’re pretty much a constant in the movies. One of them is Runt climbing a cây and the other is Humphrey logboarding, both of which I tried to include at least once in the stories that I could include them in.

Right away, I made a reference to the một giây movie bởi addressing the fact that Garth and Lilly were living in the tall grass. There’s a reference to the first movie after Kate finds out...

Now it was time to start the một giây part of Viggo’s plan, which was also based off something else that I made a lot of changes to. Again, it started similar to the piece that had inspired it and relied on Viggo’s main campsite in the Northern Region being destroyed and Viggo looking horribly defeated and in a state that we have never seen him in.

Robert going rogue was an idea I got from the piece that inspired this một giây part of Viggo’s plan, except instead of it being an actual mutiny, it ends up being another massive deception bởi Viggo, hence why I called this part of the story, “His...

I had also decided to tell the story of what happened to Garth’s mother. I had very briefly touched on it in Missing Parents, but now, I had thêm ideas for thêm detail and really wanted to tell that part of the story too. First, I had to introduce Garth’s mother before she died so the readers could establish some kind of connection to her and over the course of nghề viết văn the một giây chapter, I found myself emphasizing that Garth had a very special bond with his mother, which I knew would make her death even thêm painful.

Since this was essentially Humphrey’s origin story, I couldn’t not...

Chapter 25: The Betrayal

Viggo had just barely gotten back to his base in time. After escaping from the valley, he ran as fast as he could through the woods toward what remained of his campsite in the Northern Region. bởi the time he finally arrived, half of his upper arm was swollen and the skin was just starting to turn dark.

He stumbled into his tent and immediately began digging through the chest behind his bàn where he kept the antivenom he had specially gotten for this very scenario. The antivenom did the job and for a tháng hoặc so afterward, Viggo took the time he needed to recover from...

The night sky was dark that night, the light of the stars and moon hidden bởi a thick blanket of jet-black clouds. From the clouds drifted hundreds of thousands of snowflakes, the winter winds guiding them on their journey to the ground. From the soil, a forest of lodgepole pines stood tall, looming over the snowy, Canadian landscape. A brotherly pair of Người sói traveled within their shadows, the eldest of the two in the lead. The younger male stuck closely behind his companion, using him as a shield against the blustering wind. Despite this, snow still managed to cling onto his coat. He growled....

Chapter 10: Ride to Victory

As they retreated through the woods and back towards the valley, Humphrey and the others did so in a way so as not to lose the enemy, but also didn't let them get too close. They just needed to lure them back to the pack and then the real battle would begin.

As they reentered the territory, the Người sói stopped and turned around to face back into the woods as the humans and the remaining chó emerged. Humphrey and the others stood with a proud, disciplined, almost militaristic stance, waiting for the trap to be sprung. When the humans appeared out of the woods, they...

Chapter 4: Revenge of a King

The rest of the group was hiding in the bushes just outside the pack borders when they heard Humphrey's terrible scream. The worst part was the fact that they couldn't do anything about it.

Back in the den, one of King's henchwolves entered the cave.

"Sir," he said.

King looked up with a furious look on his face.

"I thought I asked for complete privacy!"

"Sorry sir," the chó sói, sói said. "But there are several Người sói approaching through the trees."

"Ahh!" King growled in frustration. The chó sói, sói quickly left the cave so as to avoid his master's fury.

King looked down at Humphrey,...

Chapter 2: Pack Meeting

That night, Humphrey didn't sleep too well. He was continuing to think about his parents and was talking in his sleep as he did so.

"Mom. Dad. No, don't leave. Help!"

Outside the den, Kate and Winston were quietly talking.

"We can't keep it a secret any longer," Winston said...
