Dustin's POV

I woke up to the morning sun shining in my eyes, I blinked a few times to clear my vision and figured that I had slept in longer then I usually did. My head was still spinning from everything that had happened the trước đó night. I found it hard to take in that I was a shape shifter and that the myth was true. I didn't want to tell anyone because I knew they wouldn't believe me I also don't know how to control this power. Then it hit me I could go out and practice this new power and not be bothered. I decided I would go to that small lake where I would always sit and think. Later

I walked out of my den after waking up from a short nap. It was time for the Hunting competition against Kate and I had the perfect plan to beat her. First I would need to shift into a fast animal that also has lots of strength to take down a caribou. I thought in my head of an animal that I knew of that could meet those standards. I started walking towards the valley where the competition was to be held, still thinking of what animal I could shift into.

It was now midafternoon and the sun was shining bright in the sky, not a đám mây in the sky. 'It's such a nice day' I thought to myself. As I descended down into the valley I finally figured out an animal that could run fast as well as have enough strength to take down a caribou. I crouched down downwind of the herd and looked for the biggest caribou I could find. I saw a big male in the center of the herd watching over as the rest ate the grass. 'This is going to be slightly harder than I thought' I thought to myself. I stayed downwind and got closer to the herd. I saw a small gap they had opened I made my was between two caribou without them noticing me. bởi this time I could see the cỏ moving to the right of me, past the caribou. Indicating where Kate was.

I looked ahead of me and saw that the male caribou had its back to me. It was the right moment to strike; I crept my way closer and closer. Suddenly the caribou turned into head and saw me just below him; he turned around and tried to kick me. I quickly jumped up and sank my teeth and claws into its neck. The caribou fell to the ground and died instantly. I sat beside the caribou feeling proud of myself, I shifted back to my normal self and picked up the now dead caribou bởi the neck and dragged it back to where the rest to where Humphrey and the other Người sói were waiting. Everyone stared in awe as I dragged the massive caribou into the middle of the group where Humphrey sat.

"I believe I win" I said

"Well what about..." He was going to say Kate when she appeared dragging a caribou on her mouth.

Kate dropped the caribou she had in the mouth and stared at me with he mouth open.

Everyone including Humphrey where looking right at me wonder what had happened when the competition started.

"But how can that be isn't that a myth?" Kate said

"Ah that's what I thought too but I inhaled this green fog and now I'm a shape shifter." I said

"Prove it!" A chó sói, sói yelled out of the group

"Okay give me the name of any chó sói, sói in this pack and I will shift into them." I said

I thought of Humphrey in my head and I started to shift into his form. Everyone stared at me, some in awe some in fear. The transformation was complete and I looked just like Humphrey.

"Hello my names Humphrey" I đã đưa ý kiến but my voice sounded just like Humphrey's "Is that enough proof for you?"

"I'll say" The real Humphrey said

"Okay, then I guess I win and I'll be heading to my den now." I đã đưa ý kiến walking away as I shifted back into my normal self, leaving everyone confused and shocked.

'I can get used to this' I thought as I walked to my den
