Why does everybody like Al and hate Duncan?:(

Well, I personally think that a lot of people Mất tích respect for Duncan after he cheated on Courtney. It wasn't just the fact that he cheated on her, but it was the way he did it. If he wanted to go with Gwen he should have told Courtney straight off and be done with her, yet he screwed around with Gwen behind her back and broke her heart.

Another reason why I feel like những người hâm mộ dislike Duncan this season is that he just didn't feel like Duncan. Where was the wit? Where was the sarcasm? Where was the snarky các bình luận and the secret tim, trái tim of vàng that we all fell in tình yêu with in the first two seasons? For me, it feels like we Mất tích all of who Duncan was in TDI and TDA, everyone felt like we could root for him. Yet in TDWT, he feels like a completely different character.

Now, as for Alejandro, I think people like him because he's an interesting and complex character. Everyone wants to see how ruthless he can be and what he'll do next. It's also like he has thêm than one personality, there's the sickly-sweet and suave Alejandro that we see when he's interacting with the contestant, the charming and charismatic Alejandro that we see when he's interacting with any of the girls, the truly evil and wicked Al that we see in the confessionals and when he's playing tricks, and lastly the weak and messed up Alejandro that's seen when he talks about his family hoặc when he gets frustrated.

To me, I find Alejandro charming, hilarious, manipulative and simply outrageous. I see him as a great villain and a genuine character with flaws, strengths, and character development. I just see him as a great character who's interesting to watch.

Because if bạn cheat on someone because bạn tình yêu another person it's wrong but if bạn break every girl's tim, trái tim and womanize everybody on the hiển thị for the money then it's awwwwight!

Let's face it. What Duncan did was wrong but not nearly as bad as what Alejandro did. Duncan didn't Kiss Gwen as part of a plan to win the money but because he genuinely liked her. Alejandro, on the other hand, tried and managed to womanize every girl on the show, except for Gwen, in a vile attempt to win the money which eventually backfired.

Why is Duncan the evil one then? They both got what they deserved but according to their crimes. Duncan got the hell beaten out of him bởi Courtney in TDA, punched bởi Cody, kicked where it counts bởi Courtney and accidently eliminated his new GF. Alejandro became a Darth Vader wannabe after getting trampled and burnt bởi lava.

People believe Duncan is an idiot because he didn't suffer as much as Al (but not as less as Bridgette) and because Courtney got her 10 giây of crying on tape.

Why? Because she Mất tích her pride. Courtney took her relatioship with Duncan as granted and never seemed to care much about his opinion and part of her character relied on Duncan being her 'pet'. The way it ended was the hardest part for her. She's not as angry with Duncan as she is with Gwen. She knew Duncan would eventually cheat on her and blames Gwen because she's too stubborn to admit she shares a part of the guilt. If she was the perfect girlfriend she thinks she was, he would have never cheated on her.
None of the girls Al womanized were in a serious relationship so there was no reason to hate him, with the exception of Bridgette who after trying to Kiss Al twice is still a người hâm mộ favourite.

Duncan is thêm hated because a huge part of the fanbase liked his relationship with Courtney. If Al were to cheat on Heather, he'd maybe be as hated as Duncan.

All in all Duncan is thêm hated because:
a) He was in a relatioship with Courtney.
b) Courtney expressed sadness while Al's victims expressed anger.
c) DxC was the biggest canon couple.
d) All of above.

I don't hate Duncan and I hate Al so all of this is just mere expecualtion but I just don't see any other real reason for all the Duncan hate and Al love.

I've disliked Duncan long before he cheated on Courtney and long before I was aware Alejandro existed.

The reason I dislike Duncan so much is because he's a a terrible person in general. He singles out people who he thinks would make an easy target an bullies them relentlessly. He made Harold's life a living he'll through the first two seasons and for what? To make him look "tough" hoặc just to make him feel better about his pathetic existence?

I've seen people use the argument, "but Harold's a nerd and that's just how people treat them." let me blow that little theory right out of the water. I am a nerd (and freaking proud of it) no one has ever treated me that way.

Any way back on to why I hate Duncan. He cares far too much for his reputation and how tough people perceive him to be. Seriously, he's kind of a poser. If he wasn't do bạn think he'd freak out so much if someone saw him feeding a rabbit a carrot?

I guess I'll finish off with the Courtney point. First of all I think it's thêm his fault than Harold's that Courtney was voted off in season one. If Duncan hadn't of been such an đít, mông, ass to begin with, Harold would no have been pushed to the lengths he was and courtney wouldn't have been voted out unfairly. After Courtney was voted off he went on to say the only reason he liked her was because she was "hot". Duncan: For being so damn harsh and not break-up with Courtney 1st. To tell bạn the truth, I wouldve liked DxG for the sake of the hiển thị if Duncan wouldve just broken-up with Courtney 1st. This whole 'secret romance' is pathetic to watch in my opinion. Yes, Courtney couldve saw this coming but, that doesnt mean she needed to be cheated on. So, from wat I see, I think Duncan is using this new relationship just get under Courtney’s skin and break her since, Courtney was so damn harsh to him in TDA.

Alejandro: For using all of the girls period. When I saw him using Lindsay, it felt a little weird for me. Then, Bridgette, I was mad, like REALLY mad. Then, LeShawna, my girl has been played!!! Then Courtney, I was pissed. And for some reason, I was thinking that she kinda deserved it from the ‘Justin’ thing. But, then I was mad for her. And I like…. I don’t really like her as much. And yet I feel for her…. Eh. Half-n-half when its either getting old.

Well, I like both. Most girls like the bad-boy. So, maybe that's it, for the girls. Ha. I'm assuming they like Duncan becuse he's a classic character and his humor is astounding. Really, without Alejandro, there would be no drama for the world tour. He's been the best antagonist that we've had so far. I felt like he didn't deserve what had happened to him. Even after spilling his tim, trái tim out to Heather and giving her a kiss, Alejandro still ended up getting thrown off of the núi lửa bởi the person that he possibly loved. And after this, he ended up getting burnt up, and Chris wouldn't even let him have proper medical attention. It must be awful being inside the drama machine like that. I bet anyone who sees him like that probably wouldn't even consider him a human being anymore.

Duncan.. Oh god, here we go.
I had almost Mất tích all of my respect for Duncan, even before World Tour, because he decided to be a jackass and torture Harold for no reason. Harold had never done anything to him! Duncan decided to torture Harold in the first season just so he could feel good about himself. Duncan was a Total douche in season one, and that continued into TDA, and later TDWT.
When he broke up with Courtney, I actually thought it was kind of smart of him, because she had treated him like shit before that, but let's not get into that matter right now. I wish Duncan would've stayed with Courtney just so he could get his đít, mông, ass nagged at and abused more. He would totally deserve it.
While I thought of Duncan as a kind of humorous character, that doesn't change the fact that I think he's a total jackass and a bully.

To tell bạn the truth they are both my least favourite characters so I don't care about either of them,but the reasosns why I hate duncan have nothing to do with the tình yêu tam giác fight (well,they do a little bit).It's just that in TDI he was one my fave character along with Gwen,because...Well,he was a prankster and he made comedy in the show...But in TDA it came downhill when he started to lose the comedy and create the drama,along with Courtney!I'm bugged that the whole seasons are concetrated on this person.TDI was all TrentxGwen and DuncanxCourtney..In TDA there was a little TxG and a lot of DxC and TDWT screwed up everything!Duncan started dating Gwen and all of my faves didn't get enough screen time because of them!!And Alejandro?Nahh,he's to typical for me...The dfference between him and Heather is that Heather counts on her strategies and Alejandro on his looks...Kinda selfish dude

I agree and though he DID cheat on Courtney I STILL like him anyways but he has changed since TDI/TDA and I hate how the producers hoặc whoever is basically destroying a good character like him(and also Courtney in TDA) it urks me to see HOW he ended it with Courtney instead of just telling her that he did not want to be with her anymore and then tell her exaclty WHY he wants to break up it's not really that hard is it?(maybe for him but still). As for the Courtney deserving to get hurt bởi Duncan,NO she did not deserve to be cheated on regardless of how she treated Duncan in season 2 but that was only because she thought that Duncan was messing around with Gwen and she did not like their friendship but then again that is no reason for her to treat Duncan the way that she did but I do not blame her for becoming worried that Duncan hoặc Gwen may have had feelings for one another back in season 2 AND in TDWT.
