I'm with Dean-girlx and Natalie88- it's a physical part of him, I don't think he can ever eradicated it but I think he can over come it. Hopefully!

Can't help it, I'm ever-hopeful that somehow he will be free of it - not sure how, but it's a nice thought. Kind of flimsy, but maybe if they win in the end? Or with the help of a certain angel? I hate the thought of Sam having to deal with this for the rest of his life. :0

i don't see it being possible its in him you can't just clean your blood...i do believe he can surpress it but not rid it completly
