The last two minutes screams 'yes' BUT, he most likely didn't mean to leave Cas behind. Maybe the "portal" or whatever was closing and Cas came up at the last second or maybe something else happened. We really won't know until we see it. It was a complete total accident in my eyes for the time being. By the way: This should be marked as a potential spoiler
