In Season 10 Episode 2, where Dean fights Cole, if he's a demon why doesnt he use his jedi-like powers?

Remember back in season 4 when the brothers astral projected and temporarily become like ghosts, but they didn't automatically know how to access and use their ghostly powers? My guess is that it was something like that. Just because Dean was now a demon didn't mean he knew how to use every demonic power.

I think maybe it was because he wasn't so worried about killing him hoặc whatever but moreso he was having fun beating him up. Maybe. Just a theory.
