Unlike the general conscious Arceus is in fact NOT god of the pokemon world in any context. In fact thats pretty much a western religion view of him. Looking at it from the Japanese perspective though and it looks thêm like Arceus is in fact based off an ancient deity that only created others(in this case dialga palkia and the lake trio and possibly giratina) and once it did that it just left. Went off somewhere and disappeared leaving its creations to act as gods themselves in a way. So in essence it did what the pokedex đã đưa ý kiến it created the universe with its 1000 arms and after that it created the legendary pokemon(stated above) and left. Lemme explain. Arceus is powerful enough to be a god. It created 6 powerful Pokemon (Dialga, Palkia, Giratina, Azelf, Mesprit, and Uxie). It even made the entire Sinnoh region. It's called the God Pokemon. But it's not "God", just A god. Like a Greek god hoặc an Egyptian god. It's powerful but not that powerful.
