There was better creativity before. Some things now are creative, but the concept is all the same- either over-used potty humar, or whiny teenage drama..

It had JIMMY NEUTRON and Danny Phantom!

I like some shows in the new Nick, but I LOVED many more of the old Nick shows. And it's not just the nostalgia talking; the old stuff was more than simplistic, seemingly cranked out to make a buck shows with the "stupidity = humor" mindset. Stupid can definitely be funny, but it shouldn't be EVERYthing.

New Nickelodeon... ew

I admit, I didn't like Nickelodeon in the '90s. I did enjoy a couple of the channel's cartoons, but for the most part I actually found the channel pretty boring. It just seemed to lack personality and energy, and I rarely had the attention span to sit through a whole episode of something!

There are still some Nickelodeon shows on nowadays that I can't pay attention to, but on the whole I think it is more interesting now. It was in about 2000/2001 when I really got into it; I think the channel's strongest era was the early to mid '00s.
