About respect and adding proper content to a spot

I'm really disappointed bởi how some House MD những người hâm mộ behave...and not even really unknown ones.
The place I'm talking about in particular is the Huddy spot. Yes I know, most people over there are awesome :D but when I was there today I was just like: wtf...because I really didn't expect the following...

The picture that was added under which the "fight" took place was unfortunately deleted, but I took a lot of screencaps, just in case.

So I came to the Huddy spot to see that someone had added quite some các bức ảnh that were not at all Huddy related. See for yourself:

I got rid of the names of the people who added them. This is not some kind of revenge hoặc so, this will be anonymous.
See for yourself -one of the các bức ảnh is actually Huddy related.
I think there were 1-2 thêm of these cast photos.

I thought it was a simple mistake, nothing big, but since no one else was saying that these were not Huddy related, I decided to do so.
WHAT A MISTAKE, I can tell you. Some people of these spot tried to eat me alive.

So here's how I approached them.

I just thought the person wanted to add them to the House spot and made a mistake :D Happens easily.

I don't think I was especially rude, was I?

And then I get the first rather pissed comment...

The person obviously not caring about what was added to the Huddy spot hoặc pissed that I pointed out her mistake? I didn't even mean to upset anyone -.-°

Now comes the fun part...Stalkerish as I am I went to look what was going on in the Huddy các diễn đàn at that time....and what I saw really made my evening.

That's really refreshing..wait..what exactly did I do other than pointing out that bạn added non-Huddy related pictures to the Huddy spot?

Back to the main image that caused so much trouble. A few thêm Huddyfans joined the discussion.
Everyone of course defending the person that đã đăng the cast pictures. -> is it so wrong to understand that the Huddy spot is for Huddy related images?
I mean it's not like I snapped at them and called them a whore for posting wrong content :S
Happened to me too, đã đăng on the wrong spot, noticed it, deleted it- end of story.

I tried to explain them how I think it's important to add spot related stuff and that I've heard from various people that they don't like the Huddy spot so much anymore because ngẫu nhiên content was added.
The person below was I think the only one that tried to understand me =)

I however don't feel like my first các bình luận were especially offending. But bạn can all scroll up and see what I wrote...maybe I'm being rude without noticing it, I make a lot of mistakes too^^°
I still think it was way thêm rude to call me a chó cái, bitch and a moron because I told someone that the content they added didn't fit the spot's theme.

That was the prologue. Too bad that the picture has been deleted, so I had to recreate this >_<
Who knows, maybe they're gonna say I faked some parts hoặc left important things out - feel free to readd them if bạn screencapped them.

Now comes the main part, the part that upset me the most. Because appearantly, if bạn don't constantly hang out in the huddy forums, bạn ARE NOT a real huddy người hâm mộ and therefore have no right to hang out at the huddy spot.

Oh and I forgot...Me telling them the pictures were not Huddy related was BASHING. Yeah. I couldn't believe all that either...

And this is the story of the day. Lol.
No it really disappointed me because I actually had respect for those people before which I now lost.
I mean people do disagree, people do argue, both sides behave like they shouldn't behave, but is it really necessary to jump to words like bitch,moron,stupid huddyfans immediately?
Can we not, even when disagreeing, keep some respect?
If my way of telling them that the pictures didn't fit sounded rude to them, I will try to sound nicer tiếp theo time, but I don't see where I was wrong telling them those didn't belong to the huddy spot- because they simply didn't and if no one ever says anything, it can't be good either, can it?

Maybe everyone of us (not excluding me) should try to respect others more, add proper hình ảnh to a spot and don't judge others bởi how much they contribute to a spot. :)

oldmovie Wow.............wtf? I don't see how you acted rudely, I just guess no-one's been saying anything over there about how to properly participate in a spot and therefore any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is taken as a personal attack......wow. I've stopped going to the huddy spot a long time ago, I don't feel very comfortable over there anymore mainly because the mentality that you pointed out. The "if you're not here 24/7 you're obviously not a huddy fan etc." Sorry to hear about that, and yes we should all be more respectful. BTW High five for Glee profile icons!

bri-marie I completely agree. And, no, you weren't sarcastic, condescending or rude in any way. I think it's good (and kudos to you) that you pointed out that they had posted the wrong pictures. Unfortunately, Huddy isn't the only spot that does this. More people need to stand up and try and keep things clean. More people also need to be mature and consider other opinions. Yes, it's easy to make a mistake and post the wrong pictures in the wrong spot. However, the mature thing would be to admit that mistake and simply take it down. It didn't need to turn into the drama-fest that it did. Also, I think people should read the rules and guidelines before they begin adding content (not only to make sure they know how to add delete pictures, but I'm also tired of people asking the same five questions over and over or adding the same pictures). This person, not only didn't realize that they could delete the pictures, but thought that you should and could :/

ilovehouse345 i do agree to a certain extent.i do think the huddy spot is a spot for huddy and just that.but on the other hand ido think you could cut these people some slack.they may act or think the same way you do ,example: if you put a sheet over a chair and leave it there all day then at the end of the day you would probaly put it away.but lets say a 12 year old comes along and see the sheet,they might not put it away they might make a fort or a tent ect ect. so my point is people do not always think in the same way youdo.they may have thought it could be for people who like house and huddy.while you think it should just be for huddy.so you see you think in a differnt way and i respect how you think but just remeber not all people think how you do. but still i do agree that the huddy spot is for huddy stuff and not house things but,you know notevery person has common sense andsomedo.lets just face it thats life for ya.

anonymously I have to admit I didn't read the whole article but I was lurking over the issue as it was happening so I know about it. I don't think the problem here is about you being rude. You're entitled to your opinion, but I mean come on, it's just a couple pictures, who cares if they're not Huddy related. We enjoy looking at them, I don't want to start another fight but the regular users of the Huddy spot don't mind, personnally I don't really go on the House MD spot because I don't feel welcome so I wouldn't have seen those 'other' pictures if they were not on the Huddy one. I'm sorry if you thought my fellow Huddies were rude or anything, I just think you over reacted to the Jesse pic, I rarely see you on the Huddy spot so I don't understand why you would care what goes on there. Some of my 'friends' have had a hard time with comments they've made on this (House M.D.) spot too and that's why we don't come here any more, you have you little clique and I guess we have ours. What I'm trying to say (and failing, I realise) is that deep down we are all House (and possibly Huddy) fans, we gather on Fanpop to discuss the stuff we like together and if we are too disorganized for you I'm sorry. I really don't understand why this was such a big deal. I disagree with things that happen here but I don't come and tell you you're wrong, because I know that you enjoy it. So, I don't know if we'll ever have peace or even respect between our two spots, everyone is welcome to say whatever they want, this is the Internet. I think the problem was just that we didn't understand why it mattered so much the there were some non-Huddy related pics... that's all. HuddyJoy0524 Wow. I'm AMAZED that this crap goes on in the Huddy spot. I am there all the time and have never had anything like this happen to me before or seen it! (Then again i always miss everything). I just don't understand where it comes from! I sure as hell hope that it was none of the people that I talk to on a normal basis that were saying those nasty things because that would make me really really upset. I feel like a lot of this is just the whole internet problem you know? everyone thinks they can say and do what they want just because they are on the computer instead of in person. These are the kinds of things that you just kinda got to expect and deal with, unfortunately. (I'm proud of you for being so calm and nice ;)

angelfire0264 There's so much drama going on in the Huddy spot now -_~ But I agree with you Cami. There reason Fanpop has so many spots is to make sure every picture, ever interview, ever video, has its proper place. Jesse is exceptionaly hot, but his pic belongs in the JS spot, the Chase spot, or even simply the House spot. You're amazing for doing this :D

misanthrope86 I am so FUCKING HAPPY that someone else has had this experience! That sounds like a bad thing to say, but what I mean is that I noticed Huddy fans treating the Huddy Spot as a second House MD Spot, knowingly posting stuff that doesn't relate to Huddy at all and then abusing the crap out of people who question. I used to leave comments just like yours Cami, and got the same responses. So I gave up and just reported the content without trying to help anyone with the issue. Some of it is genuine mistaken posting, some of it is just medal whoring, but most of it if people knowingly posting irrelevant crap because, like you have said, they believe the Huddy Spot and "proper" Huddy fans are better than general House MD fans. It isn't disorganisation and it isn't just a couple of pictures. For a while, ever time any link got posted in the House MD spot, someone would then post it in the Huddy spot, even when it was, for example, a spoiler only about Thirteen and no one else. Eventually, the people that were doing that stopped because their links kept disappearing. And like you said, people that they don't identify as, in their eyes, proper Huddy fans, are abused for questioning the almighty wonderfulness of the Huddy fandom. I know I sound like a bitch, but the people [i][b]I[/b][/i] consider to be true Huddy fans have pretty much all left that spot because its humiliating to be viewed as part of that fandom and its [i]hard[/i] to be part of that fandom because they all too often turn on their own. Of course, that is a huge generalisation. I'm talking about the [u]group[/u] Huddy mentality.

pietruszka that's funny, House spot is turning into Huddy spot (Huddy, picks, pics, videos ets) and Huddy spot into House spot. Maybe I should move there?

pietruszka That reminded me, there's also a lot of Cuddy stuff on Huddy spot, like questions about her family or photos about her only. It always pissed me off, because there was a very small activity on Cuddy spot.

misanthrope86 ^ I was talking about that on Twitter the other day. I mentioned the Lisa E spot being dead when it used to be so vibrant. Was informed that people have moved into the Huli spot and the Huddy spot.

InLoveWithHuddy Oh lord, why does everybody care so much?! I'm sorry if you're annoyed by the photos (and yes, you weren't that rude) but it's a few photos! And I'm sorry to be the one to point this out but this is not real life. All this talking about different spots and their activities why the Huddy spot is bad is just weird. I totally get why you use fanpop - I do too - but it's not the be all and end all. Chill out.

And, from personal experience, in an utterly different irrelevant to House forum, I was rather dissapointed at the admin cause they were like all so busy taking care of "important" stuff, and for 3 months failed to do a simple task to make life better for each and every one of the users. So I said come the f on, and they got pissed. We shouldnt however get pissed when the admin called all the users retarded the day before that. I mean, I don't care if they had a bad day, or if they thought what you said was unimportand. cheapandchic I think you both overreacted. You were a little condescending in my opinion, but calling you a bitch is way out of line. Honestly, some Huddy fans often feel like they're under attack and freak out easily. My advice, stay away from the Huddy spot, that's what I do and it's been great :)

SayHey2TheEarth I'm not defending them or anything but i think people misinterpret things very easily. One time I read a comment and thought it was offensive so I responded back in a very angry tone. a few days later, the person responded back to me and after re-reading the "offensive" comment, I realized it wasn't offensive at all and I completely overreaccted. So, don't worry, if it was really a big thing then they'll realize that they really did overreact and they'll learn from it.

Everyone, please read. I don't like what's happening with our fandom

Ok, so first of all, thank bạn for finding few phút to read this :)

The first thing I want to say is, that I'm completely disappointed bởi current state between our fandom.
Many people started bashing each other, others completely went nuts because of the spoilers and everyone has become really inconsiderable.

There are thêm than 18000 những người hâm mộ around here, some thêm active than others.
But that means that all those 18000 people can have different opinion.
No person acts and believe the same.

The latest happening really got to me.
I thought we were a nice, tolerant group of fans.
but, I guess I was wrong....
