I don't think the thought ever occurred to him after Harry first came out of the maze. Like LadyNottingham said: he had other, thêm urgent matter to tend to (Voldemort running lose, gathering the Order, dealing with a dead student). Also, why would, at first, he think he need to? tin giờ chót seemed to trust him - and Harry - so why would he think tin giờ chót would doubt his word on such a serious matter?

When he realized that tin giờ chót didn't believe him, it wouldn't have mattered - memories can be tampered with. tin giờ chót would have just used it as thêm "proof" that Dumbledore was lying to try and take over the ministry.

That's actually a good idea. Probably the answer is simply that JKR didn't consider that. At least I can't think of any reason why that should not be possible hoặc why Dumbledore wouldn't want to do it at the moment...

I am not really sure if another person (Dumbledore) could extract it from someone... and I dont think Harry could do it either.
