Well, damn, I really hope the first one doesn't win (not because of the quality of the banner) because to some of us the dead characters still mean something. Or, well, to me, anyway. It's not really fair to have someone like Ygritte and Tormund who mean basically nothing plot-wise to be on the banner and for characters like Ned, Robb and Catelyn, who were one of the most important characters on the show, to be dismissed completely. (Yes, I know why these certain characters are on the banner, I've seen the season 4 promo pictures, but I still think we should think of the earlier seasons, too)

Agreed, just because some important characters died, doesn't mean they should not be included in the spot banner!

Alle of them are great, I think, but this one is very cool...maybe some persons aren't in it, but hey, it can change from time to time, so it isn't that difficult

These are the characters who had season 4 posters. It's current, they're in the show now, the GOT people obviously thought these characters were important enough to warrant their own posters. My only issue with it would be that once S5 starts, the spot would probably want a new banner and the "dead people" argument would be brought up again. It would be impossible to fit every character on a banner, especially with the limitations of how fanpop shows them now. It's just not going to happen.

^ That makes sense, but this spot isn't called "Game of Thrones season 4". Most of the picks made are of earlier seasons, and dead characters. It would be more handy to have a completely neutral banner, like one with no characters, because like you said, it's impossible to fit everyone. But I still don't like the idea that apparently the earlier characters don't mean anything anymore and this is supposed to be all about season 4 now. It should be neutral or have all the characters that have been MAIN characters.

voting for this one because i really want neutral, no characters banner ;) doen't mean i don't like #1. i just would want to see something different for once

^^That would invite the argument of who's considered a "main" character/who's more important/more of this junk.

^I'm pretty sure most, if not everyone, of us can agree that characters like Ned, Robb and Cat were more main than secondary, even if Robb isn't considered main in the books since this is a spot for the show.

I think a neutral banner would be best in this case as well, agreeing that the show has too many characters to fit in one banner.
