Being rude doesn't bother me. But "in the old days" I was banned from sites for flame wars. I've mellowed. Ignoring people is really underrated.

There's this one person on a certain spot that asks very redundant, kind of repetitive questions. It one of those things where she's not doing anything wrong, really, but for some reason the polls kind of annoy me. And I'm well aware that I probably shouldn't be annoyed by this, so I just keep quite.

There's one user I swear tries to bait me. I think they do it to a lot of people, but it happens frequently to me it seems or maybe I'm paranoid. And I can't hold back with them, but most others I just ignore.

Same though; I've had a few people that I think deliberately tried to push my buttons. And I think that we may have the same user in mind this time. With this person I've held back a few times but this user just kept pushing and pushing and it's like, "okay, come on now."

@zanhar1 - I've noticed a member doing something like that too, possibly the same person. I commented on one of the polls months ago, saying that it wasn't that relevant since not everyone in the club would know the fandom he or she was comparing with, but he or she just ignored it.

^ yup we're definitely referring to the same person because I remember seeing your comment and silently agreeing with it. Silent because I didn't want that user to feel attacked and get mad or something. But yeah I think that that's the reason the polls annoy me; I like to vote on every poll in my most active clubs and it's hard to do that when you don't know all of the options. Or if you really really hate one of the shows its being compared to but have to keep your mouth shut because it's rude to just be like, "hey insert show sucks." So I just kind of just let it annoy me for like 30 seconds and move on. Because otherwise this user seems like a nice, perfectly harmless user.

I now just ignore those polls (other than rolling my eyes at them and thinking "typical") and vote/comment on the rare ones which stick strictly to the fandom.

Yeah that's sort of what I'll do. I'll vote (since I do know most of those fandoms) but I don't usually comment.

And he's always an ass about it, like "you're wrong, [whatever option I chose] really sucks." Damn troll. I popped off once, but have stayed quiet after that since I know he wants a reaction.

I have a user like that. He just goes and comments on my polls (seemingly) just to be rude. I've gone off a few times but I try to ignore him.

Typically I don't say anything because I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings, and I have a horrible temper. I did say something today (though indirectly, since another person is doing the same thing, though less frequently), about flooding a club with 10/20+ videos daily. This person in particular recently complained about other people flooding the club with stuff relating to a new film that came out, and I think it's the hypocrisy that got to me the most.

^ I feel you there; I don't like hypocrisy. Usually when the person doing the annoying thing complains about someone else doing something similar is when I speak up.

no, i dont care honestly what they do as long as it isnt spam or offensive stuff (you get what i mean) besides i dont really block anyone on fanpop or anything related like report people for argument reasons or anything like that, because its really childish and its completely offensive to do that to people just because of a stupid opinion, + any other reasons.

Tbh alot of things needs to be said and many people are too overly cautious about people's feelings. People won't understand unless you tell them.
