Inspired by Awinitarose's question but the other way round (I hope you don't mind!). Can be actions as well as traits. Maybe Jas could be a little more appreciative. (say in comments): While I like the fact that Pocahontas looks for guidance, sometimes she just needs to work up the courage and confidence to believe that her heart is right without approval (sorry I don't know how to describe that in one word!). But honestly, I can be those things too, at times. The first step in overcoming flaws is recognizing them. It's good to look for flaws in our favorite characters. 	wavesurf picked Sure... (say in comments): Sure... Ariel is impulsive, reckless at times, and is occasionally forgetful. All of which I am myself. These are my flaws. If I went and started hating Ariel, this would soon progress to hating my own personality. And in a way, that's EXACTLY why I don't like the criticism that Ariel is "a dweeb" and "abuses her friendship with Flounder," "never apologizes," and "treats her father unkindly when she speaks up for herself." If Ariel isn't allowed to do the things that make her exactly who she is, then she becomes a passive person. I don't feel happy being passive. posted hơn một năm qua.
