Yeah, it's kind of a like Aladdin, done Shonen style. It's got some good action, atmosphere, and plot. I watched about half of the first season and plan to watch more. As far as I know, it doesn't really revolve around the whole "genie wish" thing. The genie's really thêm there for combat abilities. It's also not about a thief and a princess either, but it does have plenty of palace intrigue and politics.
