Did bạn like the deathnote ending?, alot of people say it sucked but i wanted to know what bạn think ^_^

Before I start just wanted to say thanks for this excellent question! I'm definitely in the "it sucked" group for several reasons. For one thing, I never really liked Near hoặc Mello, I always felt they were pale imitations of L. Near didn't really outwit Light he just got lucky because of Mikami's mistake. If Light had to lose, it should have been to l and it should have been because of some clever trick not sheer luck. Secondly, được trao how original the anime had been to that point, the issues it had raised such as questioning what was right hoặc wrong I expected something better than the standard cliched "good guys beat the bad guys" ending. Light did do a lot of questionable things(as most great figures in history have done) but he was trying to create a better world and it would have been interesting and in keeping with the highly original spirit of the anime to see him win.

i hated it... i didn't like Near because he was just an l wannabe... but i did like Mello, so i was sad when he died... but Light's death was the saddest to me... he never should have died, instead the ANime should have stayed witht he original theme: him creating a better world. he should have won.

I tình yêu Death Note to bits and pieces, it is one of the greatest tales ever told both inside and outside of the broad spectrum of anime. It's a masterpiece and a perfect example of how even the purest and kindest of intentions can turn corrupt if went about the wrong way.
I, personally, thought that the ending was a bit... anticlimactic, especially compared to the beginning arks of the tale. I didn't particularly care for Near. He was only a shadow, an echo of L, a character that is hard to follow. I did like Mello to a degree, but he was a bit out of place in the plot. In the end, I wanted to see Light win, even though I didn't agree with how he was going about achieving his goal. He was a strong character, and I think it would have been interesting and, well, thêm fitting if he had won in the end.
But in another perspective, Death Note had to end with Light's death. Though he was a good, strong character, Light had been corrupted, twisted and warped bởi the power to kill. Power corrupts, and Light had a lot of power. In a way, Death Note has a lesson. It teaches us that power in any amount can't be used as a safety net, it isn't to be relied on so surely, otherwise we will become corrupt and we will fall.

I think that Light should have Mất tích to L, not Near. Or, better yet, it would have been excellent if in the end of Death Note, Light and whoever he had Mất tích to were dead, and we see Misa holding her Death Note, eyes glowing red, and a smirk on her face as she thinks to herself just as planned. Now that would have been interesting.

I stopped watching death note after episode 18 cuz it got boring. But I know light got shot. I think that socks! And l I believ was also killed, socks too!!

I liked how they did light's death in the anime, but I really loved how they did the aftermath in the manga. I thought it was an excellent ending either way though.

well i thought it was depressing.... i think near and mello were just completely un neccessary side characters who at the end beat light D: D: it was stupid!

I think that ending was perfect.....

thought the ending was stupid. like it just write its self in a hole and "good guys" need to win...LAME ok we could talk semantics about the notebook being a thing. but I hate how l just had all this money and such ...oh yea just some guy who has millions to waste...ok sure but he died. then N and mallow come along ...also with millions to spend on things like buildings, rockets, helicopters exe. also what about the president being told to shut down the task force? that just ended up being nothing? also light was to smart to be outwitted like that, 2 what N can just brake into a bank and switch the notebooks? LAME, also he just happened to know which safety deposit box had it? l had to carefully deduce things, N just made stuff up LAME. also N admitted to kira knowing everyone in the warehouse so why didn't he just organize a mass suicide the ngày of. what would N do he is just a kid. and what it never accrued to light that he could have organized someone to kill N who was close to him? like a member of the NPK? also at the end were light make the eye deal , why would he make a hiển thị about the hidden paper? why wouldn't he just write down the names when his back was turned? LAME amazing hiển thị till the end. honestly I would have preferred it stopped at episode 36 were it just cuts off. that would have bin better. let the viewer decide how its ends. this was crap

I personally can't stand the series finale. Death Note is the best example of having a good show, then ruining it in the span of 22 phút in their final episode. The creators had no idea what they were doing, they had an endgame it seemed, but they couldn't execute it because they had written themselves into a corner (Ironic isn't it?)

I can give an essay on why the episode sucked, but there's someone somewhere that can give an essay on why the finale was the best episode in the series. However I don't understand the people who like the final episode, makes me believe that they completely Mất tích the plot.
