Sorry but I like the book ending better even though it's sad. This kind of happy ending is totally beside the point. The ending is the only thing I don't like about the musical

nahh. i was sad for glinda! her bff taking the boy she loved was not cool. but whatevs.

the book was so confusing and to much of my favorite characters die but other than that it was a great book.

It was a bittersweet ending - Elphaba and Fiyero were suggested to be happy together, but I felt sad for Glinda ending up all alone, and I felt sorry for both Glinda and Elphaba for not being around each other anymore.
