The live-action/CGI Alvin and the Chipmunks film franchise is an adaptation of Ross Bagdasarian's Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise. Ross Bagdasarian's son, Ross Bagdasarian Jr., and his wife, Janice Karman, worked on the films.
