Fracture really isn't one of those games bạn need to finish to review. Sure, bạn might miss out on a vehicle section hoặc two, but bạn still get the basic idea. After all, the game has an interesting, realistic, but dull story that never interests you. It has the most downright bizarre control scheme you've seen in years, and it has some glitches. (Although it is a technical achievement.)

The game starts out with the west breaking apart (literally) due to global warming. The Pacifican Union uses genetic modification to survive and the Atlantics of the surviving country use technology, mainly terrain deformation to get shade from the burning hot climates and to create makeshift forts. Well, the POTUS bans all genetic modification and the Pacificans get pissed and declares war against the rest of the country. bạn play as Jet Brody (slick name, eh? Sounds like something from the 50s.), who must stop the Pacificans from taking control of the country.

There really is no reason why bạn must play as part of the Atlantic Union, I personally think playing as part of the Pacifican Union would've been cooler, but either way, ngày 1 Studios probably wrote two stories and had a rock, paper, scissors contest to see which story they'd pick.
Either way, once the interesting core plot is explained to you, you're basically jumping around and shooting all the exact same enemies over and over using the same guns.

Also, get a load of the main character design. Like many have đã đưa ý kiến before, Jet Brody is basically an exact copy of the characters of Gears of War, Halo, Resistance, and Too Human. He's a bulky dude wearing an armor-encoated football suit. How original.

Going beyond that, Fracture has the most downright puzzling control scheme I've seen in a long time- R2 to shoot, vòng tròn to punch, tam giác to run, right analog stick click to zoom, left analog stick click to crouch, R1 to raise the ground, L1 to lower it, L2 to throw a grenade, and X to call up to ngày 1 and tell them to CHANGE THE FREAKING CONTROLS!!

The sound in Fracture is also rather poor, and the soundtrack is the exact 3 songs over and over.

Well, uhh, that pretty much covers this game, I guess. Oh wait, I forgot the multiplayer... there aren't many people online, but if bạn do get the game, it can serve as some fun, especially on a few specific maps. And, yeah, I guess that pretty much covers this review. I'm gonna go play a better game.
