Are there any stories hoặc legends besides twilight that involve vampire venom?

hoặc that only involve biting to change someone into a vampire?
None of the drinking someone's blood, hoặc trading blood, hoặc having someone drink your blood hoặc anything, please.
I'm trying to find other methods in folklore and literature.

I think there are a few eastern european myths about just biting can turn bạn into a vampire, but I don't recall the specific ones.
