Jovi_may Agreed. You see what I wrote on the other page, so I wont repeat myself but it wasn't what I hoped for. The Adrian situation in particular. Him being my favourite character, he deserved better than to get cheated on. Rose was disappointing, tbh.

Anjuta I can't get it. Rose is very bad cheating Adrian! Did they marry so I didn't know it. Rose has a right to decide to take a other man. And she wanted to say Adrian about it so fast as possible. And then. Why are you so awfully quiet how mean Adrian was to her in their last "conversation".

vampire_in_love It was cheating but she would break out with him anyway so their was't much harm done that it would habe been anyway. And he wasn't mean to her. She brook his heard and he needet to get some greef and anger out - she was the perfect target. I think the series could get on, because not all problems were solved and I realy thought the book would end in the house Rose say when Avery wanted to get her out of the way. That would be so great. I hope you think the same. Ortherwise it was a great book, can't say it could have been better, because it was amazing. I'm realy sory for Adrian, I like him wery much, but to say the trutg we all new that Dimitri and Rose would end up together.

Anjuta Yes, that's it. This "cheating" did not much harm. Not in Adrian's opinion, but he is not objective, understandable. We can at least try being objective... We can try to see not only one side... I did feel very bad with Adrian. And I like him too. But he is not innocent. He was blind, didn't want to see what Rose really needed in all the time. He gave her all what he would need in her place. But she is not him and she needed other things. Rose and Dimitri were blind too, in soul bound at most. And they did suffer in this time and after that. Adrian suffers too, now. I don't want anybody to suffer. Bur sometimes it is necessary. Adrian has a very long way for his self-discovery and this will not happen without pain. So is the life. His broken heart is the chance for him to start a new life. This life should be without alcohol etc but with a purpose. And we hope at the end he will able to respect himself what he now does not, at least not yet. I can understand his reaction in their last conversation, but in my eyes he did show himself so immature like he is. Dimitri did accept that Rose loves the other man. He suffered very badly because of that but he wished her happiness. So did Rose for him in frostbite. But Adrian wanted Rose suffer, not much, but he wanted it. I understand it, but I don't like it too.

Arielka I undestand what you said about Adrian. But it's not just him. Remember the conversation he had with Rose?? She didn't just broke his heart, she did too many bad things to a lot of people around her. Like Sydney, Eddie, Jill, etc. In that moment, I realize that she really ruin a lot of lifes. And that's not good!! I was really mad at her because of that. I mean I'm happy she got her happy ending but what about everyone else?? They really didn't deserve that!!! Btw I think that what Adrian did/told her is perfectly undestandable. I mean she did broke his heart and maybe he was a little blind but she has the total blame there 'cause she did pretend she was over with Dimitri. He did everything for her and thats the way she pay him. I totally love that that she end up with Dimitri and everything but that was the wrong way to do it.

Anjuta Rose is a troublemaker. She comes and change all around her. Sometimes it becomes better sometimes worse. That's why a lot of people in VA like Tatiana or Hans can't bear her. They don't like her and they don't like any changes because it is dangerous and nobody knows how all ends. Not all what she did is right. She is the first, who told that, again and again. But she didn't ruin any life, she does disarrange it, disturb it in any way. Some things have a good ending like the healing of Sonja, and some things were not good like Eddie's case. But she is not able to rescue anybody, it is not possible... She is only human, not goddess. Being active like her means to make mistakes, sometimes big mistakes. But somebody has to do that, the world change, I mean. I must admit, I hate it too, very much, that she waited so long to say the truth to herself and to Adrian about her love to Dimitri. That is the typical fault of many women. We feared being alone. But at the end she did understand her error. She is really ready, being rather alone than in the wrong relationship. And that is what counts for me: Did I learn from my mistakes or not? Who is more blamable? This is not one right answer for us all. But I think we can all say: all three did their mistakes... Perhaps Rose did fight too much and Adrian did it to little...

black_iris I didn't think a lot of lives were ruined. We don't even know what happens to them, so don't go on Adrians assumtions that their lives are messed up. And what about the people that came out happier than before all this happened. Mikhail and Sonya wouldn't be together if all this didn't happen. Jill gained a new sister and she still has her parents. It's not like she lost anything. I would assume Eddie was released after everyone found out James (the Moroi Eddie killed) was working for the murderer. That was the only offense against him. It isn't like the alchemists are going to be held captive forever. They were probably going to let them go as soon as they knew Rose was innocent, if not sooner. I think the reason all this wasn't mentioned is because their stories are going to be continued in the spin off series. BTW, does anyone else wonder what happens to the Keepers?

Anjuta Agreed, black iris. Rose did change a lot of things in the life of other people but that is the matter of this people what they did because of that. Eddie won't have easy but perhaps he starts being a man not only a guardian. Jill will do it very good, she is very young but smart and clever. Although what is most important she is not a spirit user and had a normal life without any games on the court. I would love to read more about her in spin off. In my eyes Rose is like a storm. And when the storm comes, the dry trees break, the sane of them bend round. Adrian and Eddie needed the changes in their life's, that is the cause because Rose's action's did hit them so hard. In particular Adrian was lost before he met Rose, at that time his life already was a mess. But now he suffers so much that perhaps it will coerce him into changing of himself and his life. But it shouldn't happen to impress Rose or somebody else but to win his self respect at last... Hmm, Keepers. They are a mystery to me. They want to have the old ways, no differences between the races. That will be a important topic in spin off: The relations between moroi/dhampirs on the one hand and humans an the other hand. We had in VA the other similar topic: The relations between moroi and dhampirs. Interesting what RW has in her mind...

LovinTheMaslow I felt so sorry for Adrian when he saw the kiss on the forehead... it's was really sad. (I cried) But i got what I wanted. Dimitri and Rose. and there's Jill. She's young but smart. she will help Lissa be a great queen Really want to read more about all this in the spin-off
