Both were suggested for the Bella's Lullaby, but (obviously) Carter Burwell's was chosen. I think Yiruma's is much prettier, and I think that the lullaby should have been only piano, since that's how it's described (is it not?).

most definitely Yiruma! Yiruma's lullaby speaks for itself, it does not need any special orchestra to make it stand out... the song does not need any lyrics to prove that it is Bella's lullaby that Edward made for his only love. it's full of emotion and that's what i like about it...

Carter Burwell's version is good, but it does not have any impact to me. i'm that crazy about his...

but for me, "River flows in you" is much better!

Oh yeah, I'm not trying to rag on Carter Burwell's, because as a piece of music I think it's cool; a bit eerie. I just don't think it's much of a lullaby.

I love the Carter one, although I agree RFIY would be good since it's just piano. But the Carter one gives me chills and I love it.

I actually pictured Edward playing River Flows in You , but I can't say that about Carter Burnwell's Lullaby ...

I got used to River flows in you before the movie got out so i was really disapointed by the Carter Burwell's Lullaby. Yiruma's is so much prettier and true to the book! Love yiruma's!! :D

I agree that the Lullaby is suppose to be just piano since Edward composed it and thats how I imagined it. The only thing is I like the Carter Burwell's Lullaby too because if you read Midnight Sun and the description of the Lullaby it kinda does fit.

You may read Midnight Sun by visiting Stephaniemeyer.com. She has the first 11 chapters posted for anyone to read. The way Stephanie Meyer describes the Melody does seem more like Yiruma's. Burwell's does not sound like a lullaby but rather a great intro song or possibaly just before the fight scene. Edward also hums the lullaby to Bella before she goes to sleep and it seems that Yiruma's version would be much easier to hum.

I know that it's available to read, but I personally don't think it's right to read it. I know Stephenie put it up, but she pretty much only did it so fans wouldn't feel guilty about looking it up. I can wait.

By far, Yiruma. It's easier to hum for one, since Bella is supposed to hum it. It's also more emotional imho. Everytime I hear it I feel a bit teary because it's so touching. And this is coming from a Wolf Girl. ;P
