Don't actually think that matching a couple with no chemistry is worse than the other option. As long as THAT doesn't keep a chem-couple apart, they can mismatch pairings all they want. But deliberately failing a chem-couple is just plain torture for both actors and audience...

As long as the couple with no chemistry aren't together very long, I don't mind so much. Even though I agree that keeping a couple with amazing chemistry apart creates angst, after a while I just want to yell at the tv, "Get together already!" Take B&B, House&Cuddy for example.

OH! For SURE!!!!!!!!! This is positively painful! Being forced to watch a couple that has has no spark whatsoever is horrible! Trust me, I had to sit through Nair.

The suspense while you wait for a great chemistry couple to get together, is the best part!! B&B for instance.
